U2 is talking about his bloody sunday, but yesterday is history, today is monday and tomorrow
is a mystery. On wednesday's we wear pink, but on mondays my dresscode is blue(s). Not a depressed
kinda blues though. A more "it's-monyay" kind of look.

New week means new opportunities so let's do this! I just finished my second coaching
session - which I'm gonna tell you more about very very soon - and I can totally handle the
whole world right now.

My keys items? I'm wearing them all in one outfit. In this outfit if you haven't noticed ;) 

Okay, maybe not all of them. But there are a lot as you can see. 

Let's start with the sunglasses; big, round, Céline. My vintage treasure; Burberry Prorsum "flasher" trench. 

That belt that never gets old. By Moschino, of course. And not to mention by beloved painfull Loubies. 

But hey, no pain no gain honey!

I shot this look together with my talented bombshell babe Vivian. This shoot was actually especially made 

for the always stylish Amayzine.com. But hello? What about you guys?! I just couldn't resist not sharing it 

here as well, with you ;) DUH!

I'm actually not a game freak at all. But lets be honest over here, when we were 12 (or you still do, 
I give you all the right to) we couldn't stop playing The Sims until the middle of the night... Then yes,
you could have called me a semi game freak as well (compared to The World Of Warcraft junkies).
But maybe it's a bit of a (tom)boy thing, right?

What I do like are apps for my phone! Especially the ones where I can edit my photos on
Instagram that it looks like I'm in a total different world. Or making my own quotes. Like the
app Rhonna or FotoRus. What's your favorite app? Let's share some tips together :)

#SNEAKPEEK / BE A WARRIOR, NOT A WORRIER

"Be a warrior, not a worrier" is a quote I actually need to pin on my wall or write on my mirror 

or something. It somehow gives me strength and a slap in the face to stop worrying so much. 

Yep, I'm that neurotic type of girl. You can better call me a perfectionist. Which sounds way nicer 

by the way ;)

So of course I couldn't wait to show you my upcoming look (as usual). And I always like to tease 

you with this sneak preview, I hope you don't mind (#SorryNotSorry). So now I'm very curious 

what you think so far?!

"I feel like a cake" is thé appropriate quote of Geordie Charlotte (Crosby) for this post, don't you think? 

 Although people say we look a like (yes, I hear that a lot. See for yourself), I must say with this look,
we look the exact opposite, haha! ;)

This is the best shoot I had in ages! Why? Do I really need to explain when I'm surrounded by cupcakes,
popcorn and candy? I didn't thought so either ;) An not to mention the macarons on my blouse(!)

Besides all the cakes and candies, I wanted to give you this ini-mini-tiny little tour in my kitchen.

When you think about "Paris By Night" you imagine yourself some kind of feeling, look and vibe by it.

To me that's: romance, sexy, drinking wine in the middle of the night, dreaming and happiness.
Besides the wine drinking, I tried to put that feeling in this one outfit. Soooo, what do you think!? ;)

Oh, these killers of heels! (Literally). When I hear Steve Madden, I have to think of my second
favorite movie right away (fyi: The Great Gatsby is my nr. 1). Can you guess which movie that is?!
Yep, The Wolf Of Wallstreet. Which one is your favorite?

This title may sound crazy, but it's all here in this photo. Because, I'm in Paris, a unicorn is a pony
as well (right?!) And my Fashion Week fantasies came to life.

For example meeting people who virtual inspire you for years (read: Anna Dello Russo, 
 Kristina Bazan)! Being able to watch fashionshows, getting featured by big names like Vogue Italia(!),
wear your wildest outfits on the streets and feeling like a celeb because of all the streetstyle shots people
capture from your look.

Are you ready to go back to my Caribbean looks again? Me neither ;) I have still one Parisienne look to
 share with you. And I don't wanna say "save the best for last" but this might be one of my favorites... ;)

A DATE WITH...

I love dating! With friends. Noooo, not the kind of dating you were thinking of ;) I actually hate that, haha.

But about this date: I went to the Albert Cuyp market (in Amsterdam) with my auntie - slash fellow 

blogger - Dani from Mission To Style. Have you ever been here? :)

We don't see each other weekly - although we want to - so when we meet, we're getting so hyper 

and can't stop talking. Just like last time. We have so much to talk about that we tell 6 stories in once. 

Hahaha, recognizable?!

Smoothies, food, flowers, (fake) furs. This day at the market was so much fun! "Wooow, look at this!!!" 

and "Oh my gosh, that's so you!" are things we said to each other a lot that day.

I come in Amsterdam for my whole life and I still find hidden places. Like this cute little side street. 

It's actually at the Maurtiskade, which maybe doesn't ring a bell but it's a quite familiar street in this city.

Also a little bit of Barca in this outfit! Where I bought my sunnies. So that inspired me immediately 

to wear (Spanish) fringe. Yes, I have a crazy mind, I know ;) Of course my Zara shoes - which I bought 

in Madrid - could not miss in this look. So here to you, a secret Spanish outfit on a hidden place!

Okay, I have a new city favorite! S-T-O-C-K-H-O-L-M. I'm so happy to scratch this destination from my bucket list. 

It was my first visit to this beauty and absolutely not my last. I need to discover this city even more!

So first some shopping time! And then I needed to get ready for the biggest party in Europe: 

The Nelly Hotel party(!!!) 

What to wear to the Nelly.com party? I knew it right away ;) Lots of sprakles is the only hint I will
give you for now. And I met some "one and only" bloggers. Hashtag amazing! ;)

But what to wear to a city trip?! My inspiration depends on which country I go to. If I'm off to 

Paris for example, I want to bring the French part of my wardrobe. Well, this time it wasn't that hard 

if your closet is full of Acne Studios(!) plus a bit of Cheap Monday.

I never ever thought I would say it, but I actually start liking to ride my bike... Oh my god, 

all my friends will laugh at me when they read this because I'm not the typical bike riding girl.

I realized this when my last bike was stolen, which is kinda normal here in Amsterdam. But thank
the Lord I'm having a new one already! I can explore this city even more!

I think the most famous man in Holland must be our one and only Sinterklaas.
The "Dutch Santaclaus", although Santa comes with Christmas too. 

But our Sint comes a little earlier than Santa. He's actually in The Netherlands right now!

With his companions; de zwarte Pieten, which is thé topic of the season.

I'll save you the whole Sinterklaas history (you're welcome) but the biggest issue of this
holiday is racism. 

Well, Sinterklaas asked me to be his fashion Piet, no matter what color I am. "As long 

as you are stylish and helping the whole team to look fashionable my dear Linsey", he said.
And this is how I think all of them should look like... ;-)

I think you can call this a typical tropic Autumn outfit. Happy but warm. Tropical but 

cold. I actually can't believe I'm wearing a beanie already... But who cares if 

your jacket looks like a Caribbean Island!

This weather makes me super happy but I have zero outfit inspiration because a 
typical Dutch wardrobe doesn't expand on summer clothing. Why? It's never been 
as freaking hot as this in years! 

So for today it's a simple - in my way - tee, skirt, hair up and sneakers....

EVENT

Amsterdam Fashion Week started without me but definitely ended with me. Yesterday was 
the last day and between my hectic schedule I could watch two fashion shows from 
ByDanie and Allan Vos. This was my third outfit of the day and my favorite. And no, I'm 
not having the blues, even far from it ;) So thumbs up for two of my favorite words; 
fashion and fun!

Yes. unfortunately I'm in the plane right now on my way home. Well, "unfortunately" sounds 
like a big word because of course I love Amsterdam and I'm happy to see all my friends and 
family again. But my love for this island has grown a lot and I have to leave her with pain in 
my heart. Luckily my Ibiza stories are not over on the blog yet! So it still feels like I'm there 

a little ;-)

I love playing dress up and when I'm on vacation I love to dress up even more like I normally 
do. So I brought all my fancy, twirly and sparkle dresses to celebrate the Summer 
with me. After the afternoon cocktail at the pool, I had a sushi date with my Ibiza partner Joy 
with this princess dress from Zara. And gosh, it was delicious.

And just when I thought this holiday couldn't be any better... Me and Joy are having the 

time of our lives here and we actually wanna stay here forever ;) 

We start everyday with a gigantic breakfast buffet, yummy! And after that a pool party at 

the hotel with some beats, cocktails, 25 degrees and a view. What more could you want?!

Okay, maybe one last thing; partying in Pacha at night together with David Guetta and 

that's exactly how our night ended... :)

Remember I told you I found a little treasure in vintage store Phintage? Well, I'm lying when 

I'm saying "little" because I'm talking about this gigantic Burberry trench. As you can see 

I'm doing my happy dance over here! 

I had a few killer classics to own on my "bucket list" like one pair of Louboutins, a black 

Chanel bag, a trenchcoat of Burberry and next mission; some red pair of Saint Laurent 

Paris heels. I've never thought I could buy these dream items on this age (I'm 23 years young) 

so maybe I need to slow it down to keep the tensity and fun in my bucket list. 

Or shall I add some new items to it? ;)
