Last week Amsterdam was up side down because of Fashion Week. So yesterday Doutzen Kroes 

and I decided to visit their last day. We telepathically discussed this secret dresscode: black, blue 
and a touch of gold ;) (this was totally coincidence). Before even seeing her on location, I already 
felt she was going for her classic Loubies, so I decided to leave mine home and went for these 
platforms killers.

Normally when you're on a date with someone, you ask what he or she does for a living and want to 

get to know each other better. But when YOU'RE ON A DATE WITH DOUTZEN - speeddate to be 

exact, but who cares! - it's a bit crazy to ask what this worlds biggest top model does for a living, 

don't you think? So my tip is to shut your mouth and stare at her gorgeousness like a 13 year old boy. 

Maybe not the best tip, but the best one I can give you right now. Oh and taking pictures of course. 
Because "picture or it didn't happen!"

My dad was extremely happy he had the second most beautiful woman in front of his lens!
I don't need to tell you who's on the first place, right? I didn't thought so either... ;)

#FASHIONWEEK

On my last day of Fashion week was all about shoes. And silver. And glitter. About the 

first thing I knew. So I put on one of my favorite Acne shoes together with this fluffy top and 

mega sexy trousers (look at my a la Kim K. but! Okay, not even close but hey...) 

The silver and glitter were a pleasant surprise! Thanks for that Mister de la Bretoniere ;)

Now let's say farewell to Amsterdam Fashion Week, this was the end again... 

See you next season MBFWA ;)

Day two of Fashion Week and it's starting to look like jungle book. The press are animals and
photographers see people like me as their prey. The models are beautiful tigers and the designer is
the (Lion) King or queen.

And I? I look like a mix of a bear and a unicorn, haha. (It's so) fluffy(!) and colorful. With that
physical appearance I will survive and eat them all raw! And you're gonna hear me roarrrrr... ;)

Aaaaand it's dress up time. Because it's Amsterdam Fashion Week again. What girl doesn't love
to dress up, right?! So when you're a guest at the fashion shows, it's nice to do make an effort
with your outfit.

Hello killer outfit. Seriously, I think this dress can literally kill while you're hugging me. Okay, that's
not totally true... I hugged a lot of people and luckily they're still alive. But I think you could see me
as the little nightmare of Fashion Week that day ;)

Of course I stick to the rules when it's about fashion. So there I went in my not-so-huggable dress
to the Said Mahrouf show.

Fashion Month is coming up and hell yes I am excited! Not because I'm going to Paris, Milano,
London or NYC, I will be lying with my not so big but on Bonaire and keep myself up to date 

so now and then ;)

Of course I cannot miss the Fashion Week where my roots are, Amsterdam Fashion Week.

Which will start this Thursday. So let's grab our time machine and go back to a look I wore

If Google Translate is right "Sorelle Chiodi" means "Sisters Spijkers"... Am I right Italian

 readers?! ;) I cannot speak a word Italian (Ciao?) 

This was the look I wore to the show of lovely twinsies Spijkers en Spijkers.

If you like Kenzo, you are obsessed with this collection. ROARR! is what came up in my 

mind when I saw these animals prints. And in a good way, of course.

Why Italian by the way? When I chose to wear this Spijkers en Spijkers look, I felt like a 

signora - and eating pizza, but I didn't! - a la wanna be Dolce & Gabbana model, that's why...

Twice a year the fashionista's leave the past behind and look forward to the future... 

This is known as Fashion Week. And Amsterdam is in the middle of it. So of course I'm present ;)

This was my look for day 1. Chique and edgy, just how I like it. And just like the shows I watched.
One of them were the new talented Fernanda Fernandes and Joelle Boers & Bregje Cox.
(Look at those shoes! And what about mine?!)

After the shows there was the Zalando Blogger Awards, which I did not won though...
But it was nice to see my fellow bloggers win well deserved awards. Great job girls!

Yes, I saved the best for last! My favorite show of the whole MBFWA (Fashion Week); 

MaryMe-JimmyPaul. If I was a teacher I would have give this one an A+ and it would be
graduated cumlaude.

The show, the collection, the models, my outfit ;), it was all so spectacular! I think I saw every color 

of the rainbow (yes!) combined perfectly with black and white. Sporty looks and statement outfits. 

Plus an awesome detail, the socks. Mary Me Jimmy Paul, you rock!

EVENT

A romantic look for one of my nights at MBFWA (Fashion Week),with lots of black. A “color” 

I will not put on the first place to wear - you know me by now - but I would loved to give it a try. 

And to be honest, I really liked it! Of course I couldn't stay all black errrthing, so a touch of pink 

can never go wrong. Well. At least that's my opinion ;)

I have visited two incredible show that evening; Dennis Diem - one of my favorites - and 

Spijkers & Spijkers, which was such a pleasant surprise!

Talking about surprises; Mister Diem shocked us. And I'm sure I can speak for the whole audience. 

Models were falling - which wasn't surprising by seeing those killer heels (see photo 2) -  and suddenly 

dancing their way up again?! It was part of the act, which I honestly found out after the show. And I 

captured my ultimate favorite piece; that. Dress.

You can call Spijkers & Spijkers the complete opposite from Dennis. Comfortable, wearable, 

office-mood clothes for the timeless woman. It was so chique, so classy, so young but also old-fashioned. 

This collection has everything a woman needs in her wardrobe! What else can I say about it?
It was absolutely gorgeous.

Rushing from show to show, fashion fair to work and shoot to meeting. After 18 hours workdays 

now it's time to take a little step back don't you think?

I can say it was an awesome week, but a bit too much. Time to rest? Life goes on so, nope. 

And by life I mean work, friends and fun. But maybe a day at the spa doesn't sound bad at all ;)

Finally I can show you my view on Amsterdam Fashion Week, or better said; MBFWA.
Let's start with my outfit, Aziz Bekkaoui and Jan Boelo.

A spectacular opening by Aziz. I was completely surprised by this Moroccan designer! This was 

Paris Fashion Week worthy in my eyes. Hell yes I loved it! 

Jan Boelo's show was the complete opposite, except for the all black errrthing. I was expecting
a little more "show" because the last one gave me goosebumps. But the pieces were to die for!

Wearable outfits full with leather that will make you look perfect.

Amsterdam Fashion Week started without me but definitely ended with me. Yesterday was 
the last day and between my hectic schedule I could watch two fashion shows from 
ByDanie and Allan Vos. This was my third outfit of the day and my favorite. And no, I'm 
not having the blues, even far from it ;) So thumbs up for two of my favorite words; 
fashion and fun!

COLLECTION

Already sick and tired of my Amsterdam Fashion Week stories? Sorry, I just can't 

stop sharing it with you. 

At the fourth (and last) day I went to the shows of Dennis Diem and Winde Rienstra.

Maybe for my international readers this doesn't sound familiar but my gosh one of the

best designers of AFW. I expected a lot from these two because of their last collections.

And hell yeah, they did it again; they took my breath away... 

Maybe it's not wearable for all of us but it definitely was a pleasure to watch.

The first thing I wondered myself before I saw the Winde Rienstra show was;

'What shoeporn did she made this time?' (photo 6) Well, no explanation needed I guess...

I thought I was actually more dressed for the Dennis Diem show 'cause his last collection 

was with a lot of black. And if you know my personal style, you know I'm not an all-black

kind of person. But then this happened; 85% of the collection was nude/baby pink-ish! 

Totally unexpected but totally loved it.

COLLECTION

Edwin Oudshoorn & Muchachomalo. Maybe not the most appropriate combination but

I was a lucky girl to watch those both shows at the same day. From literally a fairy tail

to some hot mess ;)

Call me pussy but I almost cried at the show of Edwin Oudshoorn. I cannot describe

how perfect it was (and how badly I want Edwin to make my wedding dress!) this collection

is definitely a girls dream.

And from the girly and sparkly Edwin Oudshoorn collection to a sexy party/show

from Muchachomalo. I know this brand from the beginning and I'm so proud of how 

they pulled it off last friday.

I already warned you yesterday about the hot men alarm. Hello boys in underwear!

That was, of course, a pleasure to watch! What more could you want?

COLLECTION

It looked like I took some days off on the blog but it's actually the exact opposite.
For me it was a mission impossible to update you about all my fashion week stories. 
I was so busy I didn't even had the time to sad down and relax for a minute (well yeah,
at 3 in the morning?) so be prepared for some mega posts this upcoming week! 
Are you ready?

All dressed up in my Like This outfit I went to my first fashion show of the day; Gsus.
Hot men alarm! Talking about hot men, keep an eye on my blog for some very sexy 
eye candy ;) Okay back to "business"...

I'm obsessed with the printed suits from the Gsus collection (photo 6) but for my own 
personal reasons I'm not really into the military trend anymore...
I was also able to take a peek backstage and after that the Sjaak Hullekes show started. 
Lara Rose, one of my AFW partnersin crime, and I watched and enjoyed, of course...

COLLECTION

Of course it's nice to visit fashion shows and dreaming about wearing all the catwalk looks. 

But for me Fashion Week is not only about seeing the new collections of the designers,
but also about reuniting and having fun with my fashion buddies.

My first AFW started quite relaxed actually. Watched two shows and one of them was the 
famous Spijkers & Spijkers collection (hello lovely jacket at photo 6). But I can already 
guarantee you, the next two days are going to be chaotic! No problem for me, I love it.

LOST & FOUND

Some pictures get lost and found again. That's what happened with this backstage report of

 the Gestuz fashion show at AFW. Although it is a little late, but better late than never, right? 

Because of last season's show, I thought I have to share these pics with you because the 

collection was incredible, the models were bombshells and the designer, Arina Woron 

(also former designer of Preen) was such a sweetheart. Everything went flawlessly; from the 

make-up to hair to fitting to show. You can kinda say it all went perfect.

Final Fashion Week article from me to you ;) And last but definitely not least the 

LikeThis, Elise Kim and Edwin Oudshoorn fashion shows. 

All three shows brought me back in history. LikeThis with their old theatre theme, 

Elise Kim redesigned Charleston dresses and Edwin Oudshoorn took you to a fairy tail forest 

back in the Middle Ages. 

 And I thought Bas Kosters only could make a party on the runway? Oh hell to the no! 

LikeThis can party hard as well. Confetti, balloons and popcorn all over the place.

Elise Kim was one and all class and chic. But on her modern way with eye popping colors. 

And then Mister Oudshoorn (photo 1) came... And this man needs a standing ovation (can he 

make my wedding dress please?)

Unfortunately enough I don't have a horse, otherwise that would be the perfect entrance 

at Fashion Week for this outfit ;)

Last season Miss Winde Rienstra seriously blew me away with her collection. And this time 

I have no words to describe how beautiful it was. The embroidery was an explosion 

of perfection. And gosh, those shoes! Also r.e.s.p.e.c.t. for those models who had to walk 

on those sky high art objects. Winde has the most refreshing and innovative collection of 

whole AFW (which is hard to find at Dutch designers...)

The next day, Tony Cohen. This man is known for his flowing fabrics (which I love) 

And he kinda surprised me with his neon maxi dresses, all white looks and ini-mini-tiny 

sunglasses where I maybe have to get used to? Well, what do you think?
