How to spend your Christmas Eve is totally up to you, but what to wear on Christmas Eve is totally

up to me! Kidding, of course, but I would love to help you out, like I'm your big (or little) sister ;)

So while you're "Simply.Having. a-drunk-and-fun Christmas time!", it definitely doesn't mean you

can't look cute.

Although everybody looks cuter after 3 mojito's, 2 glasses of champagne and a Jägermeister shot.
But let's focus on ourselves and on the people who are wise and sober (we call them "Bob" in Dutch, 
don't ask me why tho)...

For my Christmas Eve look I've chosen for thé color of the season (and X-mas): burgundy.

Like this pwetty playsuit from SNF. You just cannot go wrong with this one on any type of skin or
hair color. I'm not that type of high heel person anymore - or maybe it's just a phase - but with
Christmas I feel kinda obliged and I'm totally fine with that.

And say no to silver and yes to GOLD when it comes to accessorize."Cauz I ain't sayin' she a 
gold digger, but she ain't messin' with no broke n*****" Well, that was corny...

Remember this one? The day I learned to make the Kim, Kourtney and Khloe cocktails. Yes, they 

do exist and yes, they were delish! This Kardashian event - the premiere of KUWTK - was already 

two years ago. My gosh, time flies when you're looking back!

Luckily we watched the Keeping Up With The Kardashians episode first and had the cocktail
workshop after that. Because, how are you doing after three cocktails and a shot?

Yep, I thought so either... ;)

Although my birthday was almost two months ago (7 weeks and 6 days to be exact), I still wanted
to share this celebration look with you! And this wasn't just a 25th b-day party, this was my very first 

bare legged birthday, hell yes! Maybe the most normal thing on earth for some of you, but for a
Winter kid like moi, this is execptional. And awesome.

I had the coolest birthday ever. Surrounded by family, jumping around in a Summer dress, watching
the sunset and getting amazing presents like these cutiepie shoes I'm wearing (Masha danki Kimmie!)
My parents got me - my very first - surfing lessons, woah! That was amazeballs.

Oh, and I got this trip to New York from le boyfriend, no biggie... (OMG I can't breathe!!!)

I think I'm creating this new addiction called traveling. Of course I always loved traveling - like 

almost everyone of you - but something always kept me back, and that was flying. I was so scared at 

an unhealthy level, that sometimes it wasn't even fun anymore and asked myself: "why am I even 

going when it's no fun?!" So it became this mind play game.

I'm a perfectionist. With work, in private life, with anything. My big challenge was to overcome this 

fear by winning from it. So for years and years - with the worst thoughts and feelings you can't even 

imagine - I always pushed myself to this breaking point and I entered my big friend; le plain... 

We builded this love/hate relationship. Oh and I hate him though, but without him I can't visit my 

dream destinations which are on my bucket list. Now after years it's going so well I'm creating this 

travel addiction and makes it 100% fun and excited (how it's supposed to be!) Which to me says 

I overcome my biggest fear. HA, I WON!!! 

Is someone with me? That is or has overcome it's biggest fear? Tell me, I would love 

to hear all your stories!

Today the madness is going to begin. Well, the madness already has started a few days ago but 

today it's official; Amsterdam Fashion Week. Let's do this! Got my outfits together, my hair and 

makeup artists standby, photographer? Check! I've never been as much prepared like this!

So before the madness, a not so casual outfit ;) Normally you would expect that from
 a blogger, right? "Being casual before Fashion Week and stuff". Nah, not my thing though...
Comfy is where I'm going for.

Hot tea, comfortable shoes, a cozy vintage sweater and a crazy bandana wrapped around my head.

Sounds relaxing enough for me. There's one thing missing on this list and you may guess what that is...
Right, FOOD.

Unfortunately not everybody has that kinda budget.So you can buy a cape instead...

Luckily I have this enormous beauty! Comfy and keeps me warm, what else do I need?

Aaah, there it is. The outfit I was telling you about yesterday morning. A little bit of 

Margiela (for H&M) with some Primark and the cutest bag ever; Mulberry's cookie bag.

These mules - which are totally tha bomb right now - are perfection! (Pssst... Primark! YES, Primark) 
And not only I am saying that. Elle Magazine thinks I'm right as well. Or better said, I think Elle is right about that... 

People were asking if I bought the Margiela mules, but these ones were actually way(yyyy) cheaper ;)

No St.Tropez, but a day at beach in Dutchie style! I went to Scheveningen. Whuttt? 

You should try to say that one out loud non-Dutchies ;)

Just one chic night in a fancy hotel, having dinner at the beach and enjoying Summer 

while we can. Unfortunately that last one went gone fast because the next day it started to rain.

Goodbye beach, goodbye Summer. Hello rainy Amsterdam again...

(PS. Nothing to complain by the way 'cause at the end of September I'm going to the Carribean!)

What if the weather isn't cooperating with you? You will not cooperate with the weather as well..

Never ever surrender yourself to bad weather, I repeat; NEVER. Only if the sun is shining or when

 it's snowing extremely bad...

So why not wearing a flower crown and give the half of Amsterdam a huge smile on their faces? 

(Hopefully you too, of course).

Maybe they were just laughing at me but who cares?! I'm feeling a princess with my crown!
And the flowers gives me powers ;)

I never ever thought I would say it, but I actually start liking to ride my bike... Oh my god, 

all my friends will laugh at me when they read this because I'm not the typical bike riding girl.

I realized this when my last bike was stolen, which is kinda normal here in Amsterdam. But thank
the Lord I'm having a new one already! I can explore this city even more!

What's up with the glitter lately? I don't know, I always loved it actually.

I was all xited for the Xite awards last thursday! A well known music channel here in Holland.
And when I'm having a special event like this, I love love love to dress up a little!

Normally I'm going out at Club AIR in outfits like these, but this time I was all dressed up
especially for Xite. So, what do you think of glitter outfits?!

EVENT

Yes, I saved the best for last! My favorite show of the whole MBFWA (Fashion Week); 

MaryMe-JimmyPaul. If I was a teacher I would have give this one an A+ and it would be
graduated cumlaude.

The show, the collection, the models, my outfit ;), it was all so spectacular! I think I saw every color 

of the rainbow (yes!) combined perfectly with black and white. Sporty looks and statement outfits. 

Plus an awesome detail, the socks. Mary Me Jimmy Paul, you rock!

TRAVEL DIARY

My last look in Madrid already... And with this one I'm saying adios to the Madrid overload 

on the blog. With a perfect travel outfit if I must say so myself ;)

And of course, when I was ready to take off to Amsterdam, the sunshine was as bright as she can be.
Not that I have to complain about the weather in my hometown, but hello(!) look at these pictures!

While I was trying to get my Macbook organized again, I bumped into these pics from exactly 

one year ago; Berlin Fashion Week. My very first international Fashion Week. And wow, it was 

so awesome! I went together with fellow blogger Fashionista Chloé and the Fashionchick.nl chicks. 

Although I was saying in my last TBT-post that the outfit was a no go at the moment because 

it was frrrreezing, in this post it's the exact opposite. Hello snow, you're running late, which 

I don't mind actually... ;)

After a healthy lunch at Sla - oh it was delicious - with my Nola.Nova girl Angelique. I went from meeting 

to meeting (so many awesome plans for in the future!) 

And finally had a nice day off last saturday. I went with my girls to the "Disney Land" of Holland called 

De Efteling. I had tears in my eyes from laughing because of the rollercoatsers and especially the ugly 

pictures after the ride.
