#TIMEMACHINE / FLASHBACK FALL DAY

Faking this Fall outfit to the max! Because this was actually a look I wore last year. But I just had 

to make flashback of it. Sometimes it's such a pitty I only wear my total looks once. That's just an 

important rule I added in my life years and years ago. 

I hear you thinking "Why are you so hard on yourself?" Well, I will answer that question...
It's not being hard on myself, it's challenging my own creativity. And as you may know,
I do like a challenge ;)

"More is more and less is bore" is a quote that fits my style perfectly! And that's where the challenge
comes back again. I think being innovative is so important. Especially when you're busy with your
New York Fashion Week fittings, exclamation mark times 100!!!

Three days to go and I will be walking like a Carrie Bradshaw wannabe around Manhattan
and around it. Hashtag can´t wait! The countdown has begun...

#STRIKEAPOSE / SUMMERTIME SADNESS

This must be the most appropriate title I've ever used for a post. Because believe me, I got

Lana Del Rey's Summertime Sadness right here, right now. We all know that the Dutch Summers

aren't the best ones in the world. But this one is like hell and major depressing.

When it's dry and 20 degrees or higher: we jump in the air, go to the beach, getting mortal on

the terrace and walk bare legged with flip flops like the roof is on fire. Dutchies, you're damn right,

because it doesn't get any better than this...

It's time to get outta here! ASAP! But where? Somewhere warm, somewhere cheap and somewhere

last minute. Any suggestions? ;)

Oh hello there you stunning sunset! You're just the most beautiful moment of the day (besides seeing 
my bed after a long day of work). I wanted to give you a little peek of my upcoming outfit to tease
you a little ;) 'cause you know me likey that! So tell me, what do you think so far?!

Although it's the same sun anywhere in the world (duh!), I must say that the sunsets here in
Holland will nevah evah beat the ones on the Caribbean. Maybe it's because of that whole feeling
and vibe among the yolo-I'm-on-vacation moment? Or maybe Mrs. Sun has always her bad hair
days here in Holland. Which I could totally understand though...

Talking about sneak peeks and sunsets, I'm on the hunt for vacation destinations (which actually 
has nothing to do with peeks and sun, but what the hell!). Do you have any tips? 
And are you going anywhere this Summer?

I don't know why, but somehow this outfit reminded me of the 90's. Maybe it's because of the 
oversized mom jeans? Or the knitted crop top? Or maybe because I was born in the 90's. Yep yes,
90's kid represent right here, if you didn't know already! ;) Now let's guess what year I came into
the world... I will leave that up to you guys. (Here's a little hint.)

Talking about that mom jeans, my mom recognized this model right away! You know what 
she said? 'Aha, that's the exact same jeans I wore back in my days! Where did you get that? 
Is that even for sale?!' 'Yes mom, it's vintage. Just like these denim shorts I have in every denim 
color.' She was so flabbergasted these jeans were still trending right now. Or actually, again.

I didn't asked what she thought about this trend. Although I'm definitely feeling this one ;)
The only thing I knew she had a major flashback in her head with sparkles in her eyes, so cute.

Today the madness is going to begin. Well, the madness already has started a few days ago but 

today it's official; Amsterdam Fashion Week. Let's do this! Got my outfits together, my hair and 

makeup artists standby, photographer? Check! I've never been as much prepared like this!

So before the madness, a not so casual outfit ;) Normally you would expect that from
 a blogger, right? "Being casual before Fashion Week and stuff". Nah, not my thing though...
Comfy is where I'm going for.

Hot tea, comfortable shoes, a cozy vintage sweater and a crazy bandana wrapped around my head.

Sounds relaxing enough for me. There's one thing missing on this list and you may guess what that is...
Right, FOOD.

If camouflage is on or off trend, I have the biggest excuse to wear it whenever I want to.

My excuse? I'm an army wife. No no, my BF is in the army, not me of course ;) Do you already 

see me working in the army with my pink lipstick and bringing my Chanel bag? Me neither!

What I've learned trough the years being an army wife is that it's tough to have that roll.. 

You see your cat you don't have more than your own boyfriend. Okay I'm overreacting a little ;) 

But you see each other 20% of the 100. The positive story is that you never get bored of each other.

 It also gives you the time to focus on your own thing (unless he's on a mission). If I hear the name 

Afghanistan it gives me the chills. But been there done that! And it made us and our relationship as 
strong as Superman! Plus getting respect from both sides. Because of the work that he does and the support she gives.

One important thing to know: you don't need to become a desperate housewife. Do not - I repeat - do 

not quit your job or anything else. Just do what you wanna do! And forget your whole life plan 'cause 

nothing will go how you planned it to be. That's one hell of an extremely bad habit of the army. It's always:

"maybe this, maybe that" or "oh well, it's changed".

But above all, it's all about each other and the love, respect and sexiness you give to each other! ;)

Did you noticed I cannot stop talking about the Danish food? Well, sorry I'm not sorry… ;) 

Luckily I wore like four layers in this outfit because I don't think you wanted to see me in bikini 

after our massive food attack at the Torvehallerne (hashtag coolspot!) which is also known as 

the food market.

As you can see I'm still in the NYE slash Xmas mood with a tiny little pop of glitter. 

 No. Actually, I'm lying. Glitter is my favorite color and I wear it any time of the year.
#whatevahIdoWhatIwant! ;) So imagine how Christmas feels like for me!

Besides the Torvehallerne, some other foodporn places are: Barbiebbq, Höst, Laura's Bakery, 
Granola and soon loads and loads of coolspots which I'm gonna tell you all about it in  
"My view on Copenhagen" post! ;)

 Copenhagen, you sure know how to impress me! Not only with your beyond delicious food. 

Everything is so extremely different from the rest of the cities I visited. Look at this ah-some park 

for example! Whutttt? ;)

If you're just as obsessed with colors as I am, then you need to visit this park called Superkilen, end of story.

 Not really the end of the story ;) Because they have this GIANT exhibition by Topotek 1, BIG architects 

& Superflex. These names even sound cool, huh?!

Oh, and back to the delicious food part? I read Copenhagen has the best restaurants in the world. 

Nothing lied about that though, åh min gud! This week I will give you some coolspots I've been to

 for dinner, besides Mc Donalds...

Yep, it's true. We ate at Mc Donalds on NYE... What a blooper! You know the quote; 

"Paris is always a good idea"? Well, I have that with Mc Donalds (and also Paris). But let me explain...

We arrived at CPH on NYE in the afternoon without knowing everything closes at 3PM(!) 

No reservations made (of course) and all the restaurants were already full booked. Even the 

take away food was on pre-order! Our solution? You had that right, Mc Donalds ladies and gentlemen...

Hej hej! I just had some little time of - as you may noticed - so I could prepare myself for 2015. 

That wasn't the only thing because of the freeze on my blog (and literally though!), 

I spent my last days of 2014 and my first of 2015 in CPH a.k.a. Copenhagen.

Five days to be exact.

My second Scandinavian visit, yay! I was just overwhelmed by the beauty of this city! 

The coziness, the history. I can tell you, that city is definitely worth a visit.

So since Winter is almost there it immediately makes me think of the holidays. Which I would love to 

celebrate in another country. This became kind of a tradition the past years. I'm talking about NYE. 

 Because I wanna celebrate Christmas with the whole family (duh!)

London, Paris, Milano, Amsterdam. Every year I started my first day of the year in another city. 

Where will it be this time!? What's your favorite NYE destination? And do you already have plans?

I am faking Autumn a little. Why? Because I looove faux furs! Like this one from Goosecraft.
I can't bring this to my trip to the Carribean next month, hello 30 degrees! 

But I just can't wait to wear Autumn outfits and having a gigantic cup of tea at home while 

listening to the rain. Is that crazy?! Or are you also secretly craving for this season?  ;)
