Maybe you've seen the Balmain x H&M collection a 4829027 times right now, but not like
this though! And if you have, you're either lying or you're confused with "The Big Wang Theory" 
of last year...

I was dying to share all my favorite pieces Mister Olivier Rousteing designed for us, I mean, H&M.
And of course I wanted to show it to you, on my way ;) Can you believe how much fun I had while

I was virtually playing dress up with all these #Balmanation items? Look at my face, look at how

happy I am! I'm biting my lip all the time. Haha.

My ultimate favorite piece? Thé leather pants. Oui, oui, I need that one in my wardrobe without
a doubt. What's your favorite Balmain x H&M piece?

Like I told you before, in this post for example - in my unbelievably bad checklist - I am busy. 

And we all are, I know, I know.

Maybe I should write a "how-to-stay-cool-in-busy-times" post. To give you one already, tip 1:
run around naked outside. I can guarantee you're cooled off in a split of a second. Well, at least here
in Amsterdam. But that's not the kind of "cool" we're looking for, right? ;) 

Oh and let me be clear about something; I didn't tried my first tip (yet) though.
Maybe in the hot and sunny Bonaire next month? When it's dark, 30 degrees and nobody is watching...

I had a YOLO moment in my head again. 

Shall I dip dye my hair pink this time? What about platinum blonde?! Or leave it like it is?

For the ones who did not know, yes it's thursday. Time to throwback!
October 2012, when this look was featured on the UK's Vogue website. I couldn't
believe what I was seeing! Me? On vogue.co.uk? Wow!

I'm still wearing all these items - although I could wear this cape way often - with lots of pleasure.

But if you know me, I would never (evah) wear an outfit twice. Why? Because I have thousands 

and thousands of different combinations to make with my wardrobe. So why should I?

But showing you the outfit twice is an whole different story ;-) I was browsing trough some old pics
and came up with the idea for a new topic; TBT (ThrowBack Thursday). What do you think?

I think I did a great job - if I may say so myself - on my paparazzi skills last saturday. But I still need 

to work on my "making-the-papparazi-pictures-outfit" though... This is what I was wearing to capture 

the one and only Khloé Kardashian(!) 

Stylish? You may answer. Comfy? 

Yes for just a "normal" day, but a no go for photography work.

Okay, let me explain: I was frrrreezing while I was waiting (for two and a half hours!) for Miss K 

to arrive. My feet hurt so bad because my shoes were brand new. And I couldn't (plus didn't wanna)
leave my gigantic Chanel bag anywhere (see last picture). 

But after all this, it was worth it I must say.

I'm happy I still have a tiny bit of my Bonaire tan so I don't have to be ashamed of my legs ;)

Yesterday I did something I don't do on a daily base; thanks to bag brand Chalrose I was 

able to customize my very own bag with an intimate high tea. Cupcakes, bags and friends, 

what more could a girl want, right?! ;)

Honestly I wasn't wearing these ah-mazing wedges (made by my fashionista Kim Arnold)

to the event but my comfy Betty sneakers from Isabel Marant. But to spice up the pictures

I choose these little monsters to steel the show and they do. LOVE them!

Well, it's getting colder again here in Holland... But no problemo when you have

lots of fur coats, new warm knits and three Starbucks in the neighborhood.

We all know the sequin jacket from Balmain (AW 12/13) and the incredible baroque trend 

for this season. So why not combining both on a more affordable way? That's what I did with 

this vintage gilet (I totally forgot about, whoops...) 

Of course I dream of a wardrobe full of Balmain (I'm already blessed I own one t-shirt) but 

before my dream comes true I have to deal with the "a la Balmain-ish" pieces I own ;-)

Something newbie in my closet! This incredibly soft and warm cape. I can't be happier 

with my newest purchase I bought last thursday at the Colombo store in Haarlem.

Bloggers hate rain (I can't be the only one with this problem). Yesterday it was dry for like 

five minutes, so we ran outside, shot some pictures ASAP and after that it was raining even 

harder then before! Because of that I totally forgot to put on my cute hat from Ibiza that 

matched my outfit perfectly. In rainy autumns like this, you have to be very creative for your outfit post locations...

After the (not so succeeded) VFNO I crashed the night at my girl Kim and the day after 

we went to the Albert Cuyp market and thought this was the perfect place to shoot my outfit.

"The" outfit I wore to the Raak Amsterdam fashion show. Maybe not in Raak's "theme", 

because the clothing he sells is very feminine, sexy and that's not how I would describe this outfit. 

But hey, I was at work, I wasn't a guest so that explains a lot I guess ;)

It's bad-hair-day-weather in Holland! Rain, rain, rain... 
You'd better wear a cap, hat or at least something on your head to prevent this hair drama. 

While shooting these pics, cats and dogs falling out the sky and my curls were gone 
in a split of seconds. 

Luckily I have a cap-addict boyfriend with caps in all shapes and sizes 

where I can borrow from ;) I think this red Supreme one gives a toucher to this outfit as well.

WANTED

Am I the only one having a hard time finding a cute bikini? Well, I did some research for you 

and went to my favorite webshops and this is the result! 

I'm patiently waiting for the red Lady Bird bikini from Moschino to arrive! 

I'm also very into swimsuits. Although your belly doesn't get much sunshine, but 

who cares? Are you showing your belly that often? Also if you haven't got size zero, 

it's the perfect solution to hide those not size zero areas ;)

Unfortunately enough I don't have a horse, otherwise that would be the perfect entrance 

at Fashion Week for this outfit ;)

Last season Miss Winde Rienstra seriously blew me away with her collection. And this time 

I have no words to describe how beautiful it was. The embroidery was an explosion 

of perfection. And gosh, those shoes! Also r.e.s.p.e.c.t. for those models who had to walk 

on those sky high art objects. Winde has the most refreshing and innovative collection of 

whole AFW (which is hard to find at Dutch designers...)

The next day, Tony Cohen. This man is known for his flowing fabrics (which I love) 

And he kinda surprised me with his neon maxi dresses, all white looks and ini-mini-tiny 

sunglasses where I maybe have to get used to? Well, what do you think?

Finally beach time! (Which is already over because it's raining again...) 

Wearing my favorite brand, Balmain <3 Actually it's a mens shirt but I gave it a girly twist 

by making a dress of it.

Okay, these Balenciaga sneakers are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had in my 

entire life. This is the outfit I wore on "house hunting day"; simple, casual and comfi.

Finding a house is harder than I thought, especially in Amsterdam. So if anybody have tips, 

of course they're always welcome ;)

I dragged Bryan into my fashion Valley for lots of years by now (and for him, I'm living the 

army wife life) I think love is a matter of give and take :) And because my soldier boy always 

looks like one hell of a fashionisto(?) I thought it was fun to let him modeling instead of 

me for once. So, what do you think?!

No, the first photo isn't Photoshopped. I'm actually standing at the exact same place of the 

Balmain Resort 2012 photo shoot! It's the stairs of the most beautiful store that exists; the 

Balmain store itself! A store like that is seriously a whole new level. And guess what, Bryan 

bought one hell of a t-shirt!

Yesterday was an unusual day. It started out with some Starbucks coffee, walked in almost 

every district, had the Eiffel tower on my head (photo 8) ;), bought a pair of LOUBOUTINS(!!!) 

(photo 11), tried Balmain's most incredible jacket(!!) it was only €16.890,- but forgot my credit 

card..... (photo 14&15) and had a Hermes Collier de Chien full of diamonds of 526.000,- (!!!!!) on 

my arm (no pictures possible).

Now I'm off for some French breakfast :)
