How many celebs grew up in the ghetto? Many, for sure. Legends like Oprah or RiRi for example.
  No wonder why they're so successful! They all got this layer of swag power over themselves.
Not to mention their HUGE strength and girlpower. They look just as strong as f*cking Mike Tyson!
Like,  mentally, of course ;)

So I thought, if I pretend like I'm from the ghetto, maybe I'm also creating this swag power over my
 mind and style. Pretty clever, huh?! ;) I must say, I'm totally feeling this vibe. But I'm happy with
my nice apartment in a safe neighborhood in Amsterdam though. I'll just keep it on kickboxing, which
is though enough don't you think?

Most celebs are even proud of their roots. And they're damn right to the max. Look at where they
started and where they are right now! Look at what they achieved (mostly) all by themselves.
Amen to that!

That gives me the girlpower to go on until I reached my goals and followed my dreams. If they can
do it, with Canon we can, right? So, Just do it (thanks Nike). NOW WHO'S WITH ME?!...

...Oh, I maybe just got caught up in the moment a little too much... Just a little.

 Copenhagen, you sure know how to impress me! Not only with your beyond delicious food. 

Everything is so extremely different from the rest of the cities I visited. Look at this ah-some park 

for example! Whutttt? ;)

If you're just as obsessed with colors as I am, then you need to visit this park called Superkilen, end of story.

 Not really the end of the story ;) Because they have this GIANT exhibition by Topotek 1, BIG architects 

& Superflex. These names even sound cool, huh?!

Oh, and back to the delicious food part? I read Copenhagen has the best restaurants in the world. 

Nothing lied about that though, åh min gud! This week I will give you some coolspots I've been to

 for dinner, besides Mc Donalds...

Yep, it's true. We ate at Mc Donalds on NYE... What a blooper! You know the quote; 

"Paris is always a good idea"? Well, I have that with Mc Donalds (and also Paris). But let me explain...

We arrived at CPH on NYE in the afternoon without knowing everything closes at 3PM(!) 

No reservations made (of course) and all the restaurants were already full booked. Even the 

take away food was on pre-order! Our solution? You had that right, Mc Donalds ladies and gentlemen...

Hej hej! I just had some little time of - as you may noticed - so I could prepare myself for 2015. 

That wasn't the only thing because of the freeze on my blog (and literally though!), 

I spent my last days of 2014 and my first of 2015 in CPH a.k.a. Copenhagen.

Five days to be exact.

My second Scandinavian visit, yay! I was just overwhelmed by the beauty of this city! 

The coziness, the history. I can tell you, that city is definitely worth a visit.

TRAVEL DIARY

Guess what my favorite color is... PINK (duh!) And how cool is it when you see a house in
your favorite color!? Well, pretty cool I must say. And there are a lot of them on the Caribbean.
I am in (pink)heaven!

While I was cruising around with le dad around the island (Bonaire), we've seen lots of amazing
places. Like this house that was in the middle of the little village Rincon.

Okay, okay, it's not wednesday yet. But why not wearing pink on tuesday?
Or EVERYDAY?!

I pinky promise I'm coming back to you again Bonaire...

In between Caribbean overload, I thought it was nice to throwback for a change. 

I wore this the day before I went to Bonaire for the very first time; May 2013.

Maybe I should dye my hair like this again though… I like being a blondy ;-)

And here, my lovely people, I reveal the outfit underneath my - new favorite - coat.

Some of you asked if it was a dress, or even a chicken suit, haha! ;)

But this is it! Comfiness all over the place. That's exactly what you need when you're shooting 

on top of the roof right above the office. And after shooting, back to the computer again and do 

some more work.

What do you do for work? I'm a freelance graphic designer and art director. 

I work at Holland's biggest newspaper De Telegraaf, Holland's biggest 

fashion website ILoveFashionNews.com and - of course - le blog de POSE ;)

This is not just another cardigan. This thing is magical! It almost feels like you're wearing

a weddingdress. A very comfortable one though ;)

It moves so fluently with the wind. It's like you're walking slowmotion in a commercial 

or videoclip and everybody is staring at you like; WOW.

You think im overreacting huh? I am, not. ;)

No St.Tropez, but a day at beach in Dutchie style! I went to Scheveningen. Whuttt? 

You should try to say that one out loud non-Dutchies ;)

Just one chic night in a fancy hotel, having dinner at the beach and enjoying Summer 

while we can. Unfortunately that last one went gone fast because the next day it started to rain.

Goodbye beach, goodbye Summer. Hello rainy Amsterdam again...

(PS. Nothing to complain by the way 'cause at the end of September I'm going to the Carribean!)

Call me whatever you want but yes, I surrender myself to the Birkenstock trend as well. Why? 

Because it's awesome! And ugly. But ugly can be awesome sometimes. As you can see...

I am a BIG fan of comfortable fashion - with some rules though; comfy + stylish - so this look

 is everything I want to have in an outfit.

Okay, you can't wear this to a gala or something but I think it works for quite - almost - any occasion.
Like chilling with your friends in the park and having dinner after that. Because that's what I did
last week after taking these pictures :)

Taking my - oh so awesome - peacock chair to the middle of a field. Why? 

Why not?! is a better question I guess.

I'm so blessed to have such a talented dad which is also my photographer! Because this 

shoot was actually his idea. Plus he shot the pics, of course ;) Likey?

And guess where I will be lying with my big butt all day... At the *hallelujah* spa!
Something I could really use right now. But who doesn't? So from tomorrow, I will be
totally zennnn again.

Okay, I have a new city favorite! S-T-O-C-K-H-O-L-M. I'm so happy to scratch this destination from my bucket list. 

It was my first visit to this beauty and absolutely not my last. I need to discover this city even more!

So first some shopping time! And then I needed to get ready for the biggest party in Europe: 

The Nelly Hotel party(!!!) 

What to wear to the Nelly.com party? I knew it right away ;) Lots of sprakles is the only hint I will
give you for now. And I met some "one and only" bloggers. Hashtag amazing! ;)

But what to wear to a city trip?! My inspiration depends on which country I go to. If I'm off to 

Paris for example, I want to bring the French part of my wardrobe. Well, this time it wasn't that hard 

if your closet is full of Acne Studios(!) plus a bit of Cheap Monday.

I could wear right now... 

I just booked a ticket - two actually (my gawd) - to paradise so I'm totally in the Summer mood!

Where I'm going? I will tell you very soon... 

Okay. Let me reveal one; Stockholm! I'm not kidding! To visit Nelly.com. Stockholm is one 

of my destinations on my bucket list actually. This will be my first time here(!) So any tips and 

hotspots are welcome, of course ;)

Work, work, work. Thats all what we do. At least I'm doing it almost 24/7. 

And I love it! To be honest...

Like they always say; "be happy you've got a job!" And I have three. Yes, you read that right. 

Three wonderful jobs where I cannot choose one to quit from. That's not an option, 

you understand me?! ;)

Working freelance for the biggest newspaper of The Netherlands is one of them. 

Second: graphic designer at the biggest fashion website of The Netherlands, I love Fashion news.

 And last - but definitely not least - most of the time goes to this baby, my blog. 

Free time? I'm trying to find it. And I know its important but I'm still figuring out a balans...

Yes, I'm still a woman! Although you can't really see it in this outfit. ;)

But hey, every woman needs a tomboy look once in a while, right?

That's the awesome part of being a woman: be classy and wear sky high heels, or rocking 

your boyfriend's outfit. I bet the boys can't beat us with that ;)

because I'm totally speechless of what's happening this whole week. WOW.

They say the grass is always greener on the other side. But look how green it is on my side! 

Okay, no grass... But a lot of green though, so that's close enough to me ;-)

Sometimes I can dress a little tomboy-ish. Why? Because sometimes you're just allowed 

to dress man repelling. 

Don't forget me wrong, I'm all into the girly girly stuff as well and I love, love, love to dress up. 

But when I'm having a busy day I like to keep it as comfy as possible.

Yes there was a little silence here on POSE. And excusez moi for that. The reason? Working a little 

harder that I could handle at the moment. 

I am not really the "work hard, party harder" kinda girl anymore (since a couple of months though...) 

But I was feeling a bit sick and my body asked me to take some rest and I listened a little.
Yeah, we talk once in a while, you should try it! ;)

With having 3 jobs right now - yes, I'm serious - I need to be less choatic and make some good 

plannings for myself. And I'm not really a star in pulling that off as you can see.... 

So S.O.S.! Anyone tips? Please? And we don't see quitting as an option, right? ;)
