I know, I know, no Christmas yet, but I can't wait any longer.

Actually I'm not that bohemian kinda girl, although I really like the style. I feel like going to Ibiza with
this outfit! *I wish*. But this time I'm staying home with the holidays. What are your holiday plans?

After setting up my (gigantic) Christmas tree, I´m totally in the mood for the holidays! 

Sequins, reindeers and party outfits. 

There´s just one thing that´s holding back the mood a little; it´s getting so cold(!) But, I can finally
wear all my favorite sweaters again. A little plus for the Winter I must say ;-)

This was definitely a calm before the storm outfit. Yesterday I was almost blown away by code red, 

so I hope all Dutchies are okay!

I'm not actually. Okay, maybe I'm overreacting a little bit. But I'm feeling a bit sick.
And just when the weekend starts, of course...

Me no wearing colors? Nope, not today. And it felt different. 

I felt cool instead of happy. Rihanna kinda cool instead of Paris Hilton kinda happy(?)
Okay, bad example...

It rarely happens I dress so colorless. Why? I don't know. I think colors just makes me happy.
But every now and then I'm having a (color)day off.

I think the most famous man in Holland must be our one and only Sinterklaas.
The "Dutch Santaclaus", although Santa comes with Christmas too. 

But our Sint comes a little earlier than Santa. He's actually in The Netherlands right now!

With his companions; de zwarte Pieten, which is thé topic of the season.

I'll save you the whole Sinterklaas history (you're welcome) but the biggest issue of this
holiday is racism. 

Well, Sinterklaas asked me to be his fashion Piet, no matter what color I am. "As long 

as you are stylish and helping the whole team to look fashionable my dear Linsey", he said.
And this is how I think all of them should look like... ;-)

It's not even Christmas yet and I'm already getting romantic with my outfits. There's something with 

the baroque print I will always be attracted to. 

This was my look especially for my blogger girl Anne. We had a meeting - just at my place - with 

lots of food, drinks and brainstorming. I just love to dress up for no reason. You can't blame a girl 

for that, right?

Having lunch with fellow blogger Anne-Britt always means photoshoots like this. Awesome it is.
And I was not having fries for lunch - okay, for dinner - we had a lovely sandwich at a cute little
place called Puccini. Although I wouldn't mind to try a McKenzo burger... ;-)

I think it's pretty known that the tartan print is one of the most famous trends at the moment. 

And luckily I have a Scottish roommate! So I borrowed here lovely cashmere tartan scarf.

Is it crazy when I say I kinda like Autumn? Actually not because of the weather but 

because of the outfits you can wear. The lovely dark colors, (fake)fur vests, skirts with tights 

and leather jackets. Exactly what I'm wearing right now.

Cheers to the freaking weekend! And time to see le mom and dad again after their one month trip 

to the USA. What are your weekend plans?

Its official. I can finally call myself an Amstermadame! Or in Dutch; Amsterdame ;-) 

What I´m trying to say is I moved to (the best neighbourhood in) Amsterdam and it still feels like 

I´m on vacation - although I´m working 24/7 - in my own home. I cannot realize it yet but actually 

a dream came true.
