You know how white teeth makes me feel? SEXY. It makes me wanna laugh even harder than
I already did, so the full attention are on my teeth and smile! Don't if know that's quite sexy but
that's okay :D

I'm not that "fake it till you make it" kinda girl, but I must confess: I used teeth whitener and
I'm proud of it! I always dreamed of that "semi" Hollywood smile - not that The Bold And The 
Beautiful kinda one, but a little less - but at the dentist it costs around $500,00 which is kinda
expensive, don't you think?

Then I discovered Smile Brilliant. And besides they detoxed me from my coffee addiction - 'cause 
let me tell you honey, it's not doing anythang good to ya teeth - they made my dream come true.
It's cheap, it's easy, it's fast - your teeth are white within a week! - and less scary than at the dentist

and share my experience with you.

Happy new year from Danielle! (Am I still allowed say that? Hihi!) I hope it will be a stylish

2016 and I can't wait to try out all the new interior trends!

For this first (L)interior post of the year I visited lifestyle blogger and colorful cutie pie, Iris.

Iris lives with her boyfriend in the center of Haarlem and owns an award nominated blog

called: "A Dash Of Fash".

Two years ago Iris graduated and started with her first real job: working as a part time graphic

designer/illustrator at a magazines publisher. She was in need of a lot more challenges and had to

express this ticking time bomb of creativity inside of her. That's where her blog was born.

Iris has her own fashionable style - which I know Linsey is also totally in love with - that makes her

so unique and different than other fashion bloggers. But her blog is not only about fashion. She also

gives her readers: interior, travel and career advice. And as I visited her home, I can definitely say

she's a pro in interior!

A couple of months ago she moved with her boyfriend into a new palace in the center of Haarlem,

a beautiful city in the Netherlands. She invited me for a cup of English tea (her boyfriend is originally

from London) and a fresh cup of coffee for photographer Richard.

I loved her place so much and got so inspired by her interior, I directly wanted to go home

and re-decorate my place again!

Everybody's like: "Yay, it's Christmas, we can finally wear glitter, yay!". Well listen honey, then it's

Christmas 365 days a year for me *I wish* and for my gal Amanda a.k.a. my exploded disco ball.

I'm an expert when it comes to wearing sequins, glitters or embellished pieces. So let me show you

how you can sparkle even more than your own Christmas tree. Yep, that's right ladies, you're gonna

dress up that even your own Christmas tree gets jealous!

Since we all want to look like the perfect daughter (in law) on Christmas day, let's start with wearing

something decent: a suit. Not the kind of suit you had in mind when you saw the one I was wearing,

right? ;) But, a suit is a suit, period.

To tone it down a little - so your (grand)parents can still make it to the next X-mas - I wore a 
chunky SNF sweater over it. "But what about the shoes?" Three guesses... Sparkle shoes of course!

How to spend your Christmas Eve is totally up to you, but what to wear on Christmas Eve is totally

up to me! Kidding, of course, but I would love to help you out, like I'm your big (or little) sister ;)

So while you're "Simply.Having. a-drunk-and-fun Christmas time!", it definitely doesn't mean you

can't look cute.

Although everybody looks cuter after 3 mojito's, 2 glasses of champagne and a Jägermeister shot.
But let's focus on ourselves and on the people who are wise and sober (we call them "Bob" in Dutch, 
don't ask me why tho)...

For my Christmas Eve look I've chosen for thé color of the season (and X-mas): burgundy.

Like this pwetty playsuit from SNF. You just cannot go wrong with this one on any type of skin or
hair color. I'm not that type of high heel person anymore - or maybe it's just a phase - but with
Christmas I feel kinda obliged and I'm totally fine with that.

And say no to silver and yes to GOLD when it comes to accessorize."Cauz I ain't sayin' she a 
gold digger, but she ain't messin' with no broke n*****" Well, that was corny...

#STRIKEAPOSE / CHRISTMAS OUTFIT IDEAS PART 1: SANTA'S GIRL BOSS

 How to wear a ugly Christmas sweater without looking ugly? Combine it with sexy stuff! Add

a (faux) leather SNF skirt that makes your butt look like a Kardashian booty, show some little nudity

on the legs (read: no tights!), some flirtatious - over the knee or not over the knee - boots with heels,

of course. And last but not least: put on some red lipstick and own da place, Santa's Girl Boss!

 

With this killer look your female colleagues will even hate you more and your male workmates

can't stop staring. But you know what? You don't give a damn and you're gonna enjoy your

corporate Christmas party like a boss in this outfit.

 

Since you're already on the go - with a soy cappuccino, of course - get some "oliebollen" (typical

Dutch, Google it) on your way to work and thank me later. Trust me, you're the queen of the office.

I did it and it worked big time!

TWERK OR TREAT! It's starting to look a lot like Halloween. The only day of the year I can be

my total self and look not looking crazy: being a bit- uhm, (Blair) Witch (project) ;) But witch a la

Givenchy - Fall/Winter 2015 - though, if you haven't noticed yet.

 

This look/costume felt really like my alter ego. This look is the exact opposite of Linsey, so let's call

her Yesnil (you get it!?). I didn't even recognized myself in these pictures, what the Hall(oween)!
She's so mysterious, goth, wearing all black errrthang and scary.

Hej Monday! While festival season is getting to an end, that doesn't mean the party's over in the 

weekends (or weekdays, whatevah)! Since we all hate the day after, or better said: thé hangover 

 (if you like hangovers, I think you need to make a doctors appointment babe), I can help you to 

 solve some aftereffect problems.

I can not help you with all kinds of hangover remedies for your head or stomach, but I do discovered 

 the best hangover skin therapy which I can't wait to tell you about! So may I? Thank you!

I totally forgot my captain hat, too bad though... I actually don't even own a hat like that (if you 

know where to find one, lemme know!) so I can't even be a captain right now.

Last week my social media exploded with pictures of: people on boats, enormous ship views,
friends with friends on boats, sunsets with ships and boats and so on. Nothing to complain though!
Because I was just participating as much as all the other people in Amsterdam ;)

Dutchies like boats and water, so you can imagine how excited we all were when SAIL Amsterdam
finally arrived last week again after 5 years. And not to mention the buzz around it, my Lord!

#FACETIME / IN BED WITH MÁDARA

As we all know, your bed is an intimate place. There's a selection of things and people who
may enter this area: your boyfriend, your teddy bear and your beauty essentials. So you have to
choose wisely and my decision is BF Bryan, Teddy bear Beertie & the organic Mádara.

Today I make a major exception because I will take you into my a la Bali cabin
and reveal my cosmetic bed time story...

#FACETIME / BYE BYE BANGS BANGS WITH COSMO HAIRSTYLING

And BANG, you've hit the awkward stage with your bangs. At least I have and I can't be the 

only one. Too long to let it hang and too short for an updo. The last one is NOT true, let that be 

clear ladies and gentlemen.

Luckily there's Cosmo Hairstyling! Because I have to be honest, Cosmo hairstylist Lila helped me 

out (a lot!) and gave me a little workshop on these "how to" hairdo's, and now I will pass it on to you. 

Because that's where friends are for, right? ;) 

These updo's are actually quite easy, but you just need to know how to apply and you and your

This must be the most appropriate title I've ever used for a post. Because believe me, I got

Lana Del Rey's Summertime Sadness right here, right now. We all know that the Dutch Summers

aren't the best ones in the world. But this one is like hell and major depressing.

When it's dry and 20 degrees or higher: we jump in the air, go to the beach, getting mortal on

the terrace and walk bare legged with flip flops like the roof is on fire. Dutchies, you're damn right,

because it doesn't get any better than this...

It's time to get outta here! ASAP! But where? Somewhere warm, somewhere cheap and somewhere

last minute. Any suggestions? ;)

Oh hello there you stunning sunset! You're just the most beautiful moment of the day (besides seeing 
my bed after a long day of work). I wanted to give you a little peek of my upcoming outfit to tease
you a little ;) 'cause you know me likey that! So tell me, what do you think so far?!

Although it's the same sun anywhere in the world (duh!), I must say that the sunsets here in
Holland will nevah evah beat the ones on the Caribbean. Maybe it's because of that whole feeling
and vibe among the yolo-I'm-on-vacation moment? Or maybe Mrs. Sun has always her bad hair
days here in Holland. Which I could totally understand though...

Talking about sneak peeks and sunsets, I'm on the hunt for vacation destinations (which actually 
has nothing to do with peeks and sun, but what the hell!). Do you have any tips? 
And are you going anywhere this Summer?

U2 is talking about his bloody sunday, but yesterday is history, today is monday and tomorrow
is a mystery. On wednesday's we wear pink, but on mondays my dresscode is blue(s). Not a depressed
kinda blues though. A more "it's-monyay" kind of look.

New week means new opportunities so let's do this! I just finished my second coaching
session - which I'm gonna tell you more about very very soon - and I can totally handle the
whole world right now.

How many celebs grew up in the ghetto? Many, for sure. Legends like Oprah or RiRi for example.
  No wonder why they're so successful! They all got this layer of swag power over themselves.
Not to mention their HUGE strength and girlpower. They look just as strong as f*cking Mike Tyson!
Like,  mentally, of course ;)

So I thought, if I pretend like I'm from the ghetto, maybe I'm also creating this swag power over my
 mind and style. Pretty clever, huh?! ;) I must say, I'm totally feeling this vibe. But I'm happy with
my nice apartment in a safe neighborhood in Amsterdam though. I'll just keep it on kickboxing, which
is though enough don't you think?

Most celebs are even proud of their roots. And they're damn right to the max. Look at where they
started and where they are right now! Look at what they achieved (mostly) all by themselves.
Amen to that!

That gives me the girlpower to go on until I reached my goals and followed my dreams. If they can
do it, with Canon we can, right? So, Just do it (thanks Nike). NOW WHO'S WITH ME?!...

...Oh, I maybe just got caught up in the moment a little too much... Just a little.

I have to confess something... I had a bad bad skin back in the days. Acne was my main problem.
It was horrible, a nightmare (on Elmstreet kinda nightmare). It made me extremely insecure that I
didn't even dare to pull up my hair or going outside without any make-up on.

So let me spare you these sad stories and let's talk about the solution! Because around 1,5 years ago

I don't know why, but somehow this outfit reminded me of the 90's. Maybe it's because of the 
oversized mom jeans? Or the knitted crop top? Or maybe because I was born in the 90's. Yep yes,
90's kid represent right here, if you didn't know already! ;) Now let's guess what year I came into
the world... I will leave that up to you guys. (Here's a little hint.)

Talking about that mom jeans, my mom recognized this model right away! You know what 
she said? 'Aha, that's the exact same jeans I wore back in my days! Where did you get that? 
Is that even for sale?!' 'Yes mom, it's vintage. Just like these denim shorts I have in every denim 
color.' She was so flabbergasted these jeans were still trending right now. Or actually, again.

I didn't asked what she thought about this trend. Although I'm definitely feeling this one ;)
The only thing I knew she had a major flashback in her head with sparkles in her eyes, so cute.

...Violets are green. Penis. Well, that must be the best poem I've ever written! Kidding, of course.
Talking about poems, I'd better leave that up to Stephanie next time ;) She's da best! in writing poetry.

Also talking about roses, I bumped in to this beyond beautiful garden with my favorite flowers; roses.
And that in the middle of Amsterdam's Vondelpark while going for a walk with le dad and my wild 
lady Chloe ;) In these shoes? Have you lost your mind? ;) Hell to the no.

I'm actually not a game freak at all. But lets be honest over here, when we were 12 (or you still do, 
I give you all the right to) we couldn't stop playing The Sims until the middle of the night... Then yes,
you could have called me a semi game freak as well (compared to The World Of Warcraft junkies).
But maybe it's a bit of a (tom)boy thing, right?

What I do like are apps for my phone! Especially the ones where I can edit my photos on
Instagram that it looks like I'm in a total different world. Or making my own quotes. Like the
app Rhonna or FotoRus. What's your favorite app? Let's share some tips together :)

#SNEAKPEEK / BE A WARRIOR, NOT A WORRIER

"Be a warrior, not a worrier" is a quote I actually need to pin on my wall or write on my mirror 

or something. It somehow gives me strength and a slap in the face to stop worrying so much. 

Yep, I'm that neurotic type of girl. You can better call me a perfectionist. Which sounds way nicer 

by the way ;)

So of course I couldn't wait to show you my upcoming look (as usual). And I always like to tease
