#STRIKEAPOSE / MONDAY BLOODY MONDAY

U2 is talking about his bloody sunday, but yesterday is history, today is monday and tomorrow
is a mystery. On wednesday's we wear pink, but on mondays my dresscode is blue(s). Not a depressed
kinda blues though. A more "it's-monyay" kind of look.

New week means new opportunities so let's do this! I just finished my second coaching
session - which I'm gonna tell you more about very very soon - and I can totally handle the
whole world right now.

#TIMEMACHINE / THE NUDE TRUTH

Exactly one year (and three days) ago I was wearing this look. If I would be wearing this today 

I would have been sick within 10 minutes I guess... I don't know what's up with the Dutch weather,
but I ordered the sun, hello?!

I spent my Winter on the Caribbean because I assumed that this time of the year would have
been alike the Caribbean... Can I go back please?

Call the newspapers and magazines because I'm wearing a uncolored outfit. All grey - and a little bit 

of black - errrthing. Is this the new me? Will I be going through life without the rainbows, unicorns 

and glitters? Na-ah, don't worry. Never ever baby! But some days must be a little grey sometimes
(Never thought I would say that...) Only if your mind stays colorful though ;)

Talking about rainbows, unicorns and glitters, guess what's in my next outfit? Okay, not all of them - 
which isn't a bad idea at all - but I can tell you already; it's a glitter explosion, yay! Now back to 

Mrs. Grey for today... What do you think of this alter ego? ;)

#STRIKEAPOSE / SOMETHING OLD SOMETHING BLUE

Something old something new, something borrowed, something blue. And that all in one outfit! 

Okay, except for the borrowing part actually... And no, I'm not getting married (yet) ;)

Talking about marriage and since it's thé wedding season; is there anybody here married?! Or are you 

that kinda woman that doesn't feel the need to go through all that fuss? Because honestly, I'm that opposite 

girl. That already had wedding dreams before she even knew what it actually meant. Recognizable? ;)

My boyfriend thinks I will be this bridezilla - besides his remarkable comments, he's quite a nice guy - but

I will proof him wrong (if he will ever pop up the big Q (on a very original way though!)) Somehow I'm
very old-fashioned with that, so to my opinion l'homme must ask la femme.

And one thing must be clear; No. Cake. In. My. Face. #AndOnMyFutureVeraWangDress. Period.

Aha! There the are again, my little monster heels. Although I can't skate (bummer), this skate walhalla
fits perfectly with these platforms, don't ya think?!

What also is a perfect purchases, was this Cheap Monday skirt, AH-some and it feels like
you're wearing PJ's although it doesn't look like it. At least, that's my opinion ;)

Can this post be more Dutchie?! Haha, I don't think so. With the cute - not so little - windmils on 

the background and the beautiful sunset, it was perfect to end this day. 

Oh, and hi new coat! Remember I was "Team A" (that stands for awesome) with the Cheap Monday contest? 

And I remember I won? Well, now you know again. And I don't mind to remind you of that ;-) 

I won €500,- shopping money(!!!) and this is one of my incredible purchases. I felt like a
fat kid in a candy store!

Call me whatever you want but yes, I surrender myself to the Birkenstock trend as well. Why? 

Because it's awesome! And ugly. But ugly can be awesome sometimes. As you can see...

I am a BIG fan of comfortable fashion - with some rules though; comfy + stylish - so this look

 is everything I want to have in an outfit.

Okay, you can't wear this to a gala or something but I think it works for quite - almost - any occasion.
Like chilling with your friends in the park and having dinner after that. Because that's what I did
last week after taking these pictures :)

TRAVEL DIARY

Okay, I have a new city favorite! S-T-O-C-K-H-O-L-M. I'm so happy to scratch this destination from my bucket list. 

It was my first visit to this beauty and absolutely not my last. I need to discover this city even more!

So first some shopping time! And then I needed to get ready for the biggest party in Europe: 

The Nelly Hotel party(!!!) 

What to wear to the Nelly.com party? I knew it right away ;) Lots of sprakles is the only hint I will
give you for now. And I met some "one and only" bloggers. Hashtag amazing! ;)

But what to wear to a city trip?! My inspiration depends on which country I go to. If I'm off to 

Paris for example, I want to bring the French part of my wardrobe. Well, this time it wasn't that hard 

if your closet is full of Acne Studios(!) plus a bit of Cheap Monday.

Maybe I'm overreacting a little bit, but it looks like I cannot get enough of the Kingsday mood. 

Secretly a little touch of Michael Kors orange and a Freakin' Dutch beanie because ja, 

I'm a proud Dutchie! ;) And I didn't even said something about my Nola Nova Amsterdam shirt. 

I always wondered what you not-Dutchies think of the style of Dutch people. 

Like Mister George Kotsiopoulos said when I met him, the ugly Fresh Prince of Bel Air 

type of style... Haha!

I'll let the past weekend behind (ahumm..) and start my day at the gym :)

I'm also having a meeting at the Bjorn Borg HQ. And tonight I'm invited to the fashionshow 

of famous Dutch designer Jan Boelo. So Jan, blow me away like you always do ;)

First my friends and I gonna have some drinks and bites at the lovely Rose's Cantina 

and after that it's party hard at Jimmy Woo, can't wait!

This monologue inspires me a lot these past weeks. I'm just obsessed with Lana's

"I was in the winter of my life- and the men I met along the road were my only summer. At 

night I fell sleep with vision of myself dancing and laughing and crying with them. Three years 

down the line of being on an endless world tour and memories of them were the only things

compass pointing me due north, no fixed personality. Just an inner indecisiveness that was

be lying- because I was born to be the other woman. I belonged to no one- who belonged to 

everyone, who had nothing- who wanted everything with a fire for every experience and an 

obsession for freedom that terrified me to the point that I couldn’t even talk about- and 

pushed me to a nomadic point of madness that both dazzlez and dizzied me.

Every night I used to pray that I’d find my people- and finally I did- on the open road. 

We have nothing to lose, nothing to gain, nothing we desired anymore- except to make 

our lives into a work of art.

While I was looking at these pics on my laptop, I really got a paparazzi vibe. 

But how does it really feel like to be followed by the paparazzi every single day? 

Well, I cannot answer that question although sometimes as a blogger you feel like 

being bombed by photographers at certain events. 

But at those moments you're all dressed up in your "check-my-edgy-well-thought-outfit". 

And what about doing groceries in your "don't-look-at-me" sunday outfit and the paparazzo 

is ready to snap every single step of you? I'll pass for that one ;-)

I love wearing clothes that makes me feel like a princess. 

And that's exactly what this skirt does to me. And let the "princess skirt" also be one 

of the biggest trends of this season *lucky-me-twirling-around-in-my-skirt*

EVENT

The pictures are looking more fun than it actually was... 

Vogue Fashion's night out (VFNO) in Amsterdam was to me not such a big success. 

Maybe because it's the first time or maybe I expected a lot more from it. 

But at my opinion it was just like a busy shopping night and the only thing that was different 

than any other shopping night was that there was alcohol and a HUGE Vogue logo with 

roses (which was actually very delicious & beautiful)...
