I totally forgot my captain hat, too bad though... I actually don't even own a hat like that (if you 

know where to find one, lemme know!) so I can't even be a captain right now.

Last week my social media exploded with pictures of: people on boats, enormous ship views,
friends with friends on boats, sunsets with ships and boats and so on. Nothing to complain though!
Because I was just participating as much as all the other people in Amsterdam ;)

Dutchies like boats and water, so you can imagine how excited we all were when SAIL Amsterdam
finally arrived last week again after 5 years. And not to mention the buzz around it, my Lord!

Have you been to SAIL Amsterdam? And did you also maybe spotted some hot sailors?! ;)

#STRIKEAPOSE / SUIT FROM HEAVEN

Okay, before I start with my story, I want to warn you for my craziness. But THIS, ladies 

and gentlemen, is the best beyond amazing suit in the world. Am I overreacting? Not at all! 

I wish I was born in this mermaid suit and I'm so taking this into my grave (#SorryNotSorry). 

No one - I repeat; no one - is allowed to take over this suit. This suit belongs to me and I will bring
it to heaven with me when it's the time. Which hopefully is over at least 100 years by the way. Oh and
trust me, I would still love this outfit and I'm gonna rock it when I'm 125 years old! (I guess...)

Why does this whole shoot makes me think of Charli XCX's song Boom Clap? Oh, you definitely
know that song! "Boom! Clap! The sound of my heart, the beat goes on and on and on and". Luckily
you didn't hear that live though ;) Back to my question... Maybe it's because her videoclip is shot in
my hometown and is actually a little recap of my Amsterdam life.

Which bike do you think is mine? Nope, none of them. Shame on me! But I don't ride a bike
that often. Let me correct that; I never ride a bike (whoops!) Why? Please don't ask... Riding scooters
and cars is more my thing I guess. Does that make a bad Amstermadame? Don't think so ;)

Hello skirt. Hello Rijksmuseum park that looks a bit like Jardin de Tuileries. If you have 

ever been there in Paris you would understand. You see the similarities? 

Talking about Paris. When I'm going to see you again my dear? No things planned yet.

The thought - and dream - of living there still runs through my mind.

Am I ready to move to another city? Sometimes I think hell oui I am! And other times 

I'm already getting sick of the thought. What to do, what to do…

Do you (or have you) ever lived in another city where you actually come from?

These pics have been shot last September. Still one of my favorite locations I've ever seen. 

But that must sound logical if the location was a gigantic castle. Kasteel de Haar to be exact.

And what is it with looking at old pictures and think; "ahhh, that dress" or "oh my gawwwd, 

I forgot about that jacket!" They're still in my closet and I can wear them like right now if I want.

in Dutch - just sounds way much funnier, don't you think? ;)

This outfit may look a little bit too hot for Summer. Well, maybe not in The Netherlands actually... 

But this coat is already from the winter collection of Boohoo which I'm obsessed with! 

TRAVEL DIARY

Hey Sunday! The lasts weeks have been so busy I wasn't able to post you guys on a daily base. 

But I've been busy with HUGE plans for the blog. And when I say huge, I mean it ;)

Lilla Nygatan, a little street in Gamla Stan (in Stockholm) that means a lot to me, even when I never 

visited yet. The street where lthe headquarters of my favorite brand is located. Ja, Acne Studios(!) 

I was there and I have proof! Check photo 4 ;)

Our last day - after a good night of partying - we went to the old part of Stockholm, Gamla Stan.
Gorgeous is the perfect word to describe it. My gosh, I think I'm in love with this city...

Maybe I'm overreacting a little bit, but it looks like I cannot get enough of the Kingsday mood. 

Secretly a little touch of Michael Kors orange and a Freakin' Dutch beanie because ja, 

I'm a proud Dutchie! ;) And I didn't even said something about my Nola Nova Amsterdam shirt. 

I always wondered what you not-Dutchies think of the style of Dutch people. 

Like Mister George Kotsiopoulos said when I met him, the ugly Fresh Prince of Bel Air 

type of style... Haha!

EVENT

Okay, it's not Willem Alexander's - King of The Netherlands - official birthday yet. 

But today we're already gonna celebrate it BIG, in Holland. And when we say big, we mean it!

The whole country will be up side down and completely orange this day.

2013 is almost over and do you have accomplished all your intentions?

My mind is is already in 2014 and is trying to plan a future. 

Where do I wanna go? What do I wanna see? What are my goals? What makes me happy? 

I think these are the most important questions of life at the moment.

It's not even Christmas yet and I'm already getting romantic with my outfits. There's something with 

the baroque print I will always be attracted to. 

This was my look especially for my blogger girl Anne. We had a meeting - just at my place - with 

lots of food, drinks and brainstorming. I just love to dress up for no reason. You can't blame a girl 

for that, right?

Is it crazy when I say I kinda like Autumn? Actually not because of the weather but 

because of the outfits you can wear. The lovely dark colors, (fake)fur vests, skirts with tights 

and leather jackets. Exactly what I'm wearing right now.

Its official. I can finally call myself an Amstermadame! Or in Dutch; Amsterdame ;-) 

What I´m trying to say is I moved to (the best neighbourhood in) Amsterdam and it still feels like 

I´m on vacation - although I´m working 24/7 - in my own home. I cannot realize it yet but actually 

a dream came true.

awesome - and my god yes I found one. And because I was so obsessed with every 

spot and corner of this location, I couldnt wait to shoot this outfit here already. So here

Yesterday was all about relaxation. I went to the spa with my bff Candace. So no phone, 

no makeup and no fashion for a whole day. I think its good take some time for yourself once 
in a while and spoil yourself with massages and delicious food :) And that's exactly what I 
did. So now I can go for it again!

I'm back home in Holland since 4 days now and still jet lagged... But I still wanted to show 

you my touristic comeback outfit with my new Bonaire sweater which I totally love :) And 

without knowing, it perfectly fits with my favorite cap I own at the moment, my Kenzo baby.

Since I (finally) got the guts to get my kiss tattoo last November, I'm obsessed with every 
shirt, scarf, iPhone case or anything else with rep lips on it. 

When I was 11 years old I saw a girl having a tattoo like that and I told my mom; 

'Ok mom, when I'm 18 I wanna get a tattoo like that too'. Well, it planned out a couple of 
years later and god, what would my mother have thought her 11-year old saying she 
wanted to get inked, haha!

I went for a little bit of a rock 'n roll look for the event of Lola Brood where I was 
invited yesterday. So, what ya think? ;)

Because of my face I think I cannot deny anymore that I'm having a cold... 

But maybe it fits my Acne (spring 2013) inspired outfit with their "Wrecking ball" theme ;)

And it doesn't mean I'm not happy because I booked a vacation to the lovely, sunny,

beachy, warm island... Yes, Bonaire! 

My family lives there for two years right now and I've never visited them before (shame on me!) 

So in about 5 weeks I'll be lying with my but at the beach having cocktails and family time.

Hell yeah, can't wait!
