Is it crazy when I say I kinda like Autumn? Actually not because of the weather but 

because of the outfits you can wear. The lovely dark colors, (fake)fur vests, skirts with tights 

and leather jackets. Exactly what I'm wearing right now. 

I present you, the perfect Autumn outfit!

5 QUESTIONS

Yesterday I was invited to come to Antwerp and meet the lady behind my favorite bracelet brand, 

Sal Y Limon. I felt so honored and excited! I did my 5 questions interview and we had some awesome
arm parties. Meet Raffaella Iten Metzger, that sounds just as pretty as the SYL bracelets look like.

Which designer would you want to work with?

Tom Ford, definitely.

What is your favorite bracelet of your own collection?

Actually it's very difficult, because every season I have new favorite bracelet. In a way my all 

time favorites are from the very first collection because they were my first designs. On the other 

way, every time I design everything with my pencil - me: really?! - Yeah! I do everything by hand 

first - me: wow! - So when I design a bracelet I don't know what it would look like once it's 

produced. My favorite bracelet is actually always a surprise to myself.

Which celebrity would be the best to represent Sal Y Limon?

I think it's very, very different to say because one of the key points of SYL is that I really think it fits 

with very young people who are classy, chique, hippy like - me: so no Miley Cyrus? hihi - Well, 

nothing against Miley Cyrus! - me: me neither by the way! - But if it was for me to say I guess it 

would be someone a little bit older than her and a little bit more classy, perhaps. But I think even
Miley would do something very bright and colorful. - me: Because you have every color of 
the rainbow in your collection,  I think there's at least one bracelet for any girl or 
woman - Absolutely!

What was it like to work with The Blonde Salad?

It was great. I met her two years ago and she is very down to earth. She just got famous at the time that 

we started working together. So her manager said to me; you have like a connection with each other. 

Because we started out at the same stage and didn't know where this journey would go. And for both of 

us it went very well and it is a successful journey already. So every time I see her she is so kind and 

she's doing such a great job. She could be arrogant but she's absolutely not.

Describe Sal Y Limon (SYL) in three words:

Ehm... Sexy, colorful and versatile.

And I definitely got my candy at the River Island Salon Show. I was invited to check out 

their Fall/Winter 2013 collection with lots of food, fashion and friends. 

What else does a girl want?!

When I'm going to an event I always like to wear a piece of the brand itself, et voila.

Finally a perfect Summer outfit that is comfy but still chic. This dress/skirt feels like wearing 

PJ's and it's definitely not looking like one. I was on the road the whole day, from meetings 

to dinners to friends. So this outfit helped me trough any occasion. 

And my dushi family from Bonaire is back in town! 

So a special twirl for that ;-) Ayo!

WELCOME TO MY CLOSET

Since it's weekend and I'm not allowed to drink any alcoholic beverage (because 

of medication), why not putting one gigantic - and I heard delicious - bottle of Aperol 

right here on the blog so I can only watch it and not touch it. 

Hard, tempting and a challenge. 

The only party I'm having today is the one on my arm, with these precious bracelets thanks 

to Sal Y Limon. And maybe a little dance with my date for tonight; this sexy flamingo...

I think the Mumbai Color festival got me with their craziness and explosion 

of colors.  Since Saturday I'm wearing every color of the universe. 

I also did something random - yet very awesome - yesterday. Can you guess what I did?

For some personal reasons I couldn't stand this camo trend anymore. But a couple 

of weeks ago I couldn't take it anymore to not wear it. I left some bad things behind me and 
moved on and I don't want my past to be an obstacle in my personal style.

This weather makes me super happy but I have zero outfit inspiration because a 
typical Dutch wardrobe doesn't expand on summer clothing. Why? It's never been 
as freaking hot as this in years! 

So for today it's a simple - in my way - tee, skirt, hair up and sneakers....

EVENT

Last saturday was my all time favorite party; Sensation. With the theme into the wild at the 

Amsterdam ArenA. And I think I´m looking pretty wild with my hairdo and make-up thanks to 

the lovely Katie Larcombe.

My saturday evening started at House of Bols where the Sensation pre-party started. And if 

you know Bols well, you know can´t miss their party because of their delicious cocktails 

(which I secrelty already tasted last thursday).

And now off to the ArenA where all the magic happens! With seriously, a gigantic bus for 

the 9 of us ;)  Oh and that moment, when you walk in to the ArenA, hear the background 
music and the screaming people getting louder and louder with every step closer to the stage.
That gave me goosebumps...
