#STRIKEAPOSE / LINSEY FROM THE BLOCK

How many celebs grew up in the ghetto? Many, for sure. Legends like Oprah or RiRi for example.
  No wonder why they're so successful! They all got this layer of swag power over themselves.
Not to mention their HUGE strength and girlpower. They look just as strong as f*cking Mike Tyson!
Like,  mentally, of course ;)

So I thought, if I pretend like I'm from the ghetto, maybe I'm also creating this swag power over my
 mind and style. Pretty clever, huh?! ;) I must say, I'm totally feeling this vibe. But I'm happy with
my nice apartment in a safe neighborhood in Amsterdam though. I'll just keep it on kickboxing, which
is though enough don't you think?

Most celebs are even proud of their roots. And they're damn right to the max. Look at where they
started and where they are right now! Look at what they achieved (mostly) all by themselves.
Amen to that!

That gives me the girlpower to go on until I reached my goals and followed my dreams. If they can
do it, with Canon we can, right? So, Just do it (thanks Nike). NOW WHO'S WITH ME?!...

...Oh, I maybe just got caught up in the moment a little too much... Just a little.

#WELCOMETOMYCLOSET / I SAID THE FLIP FLOP

The famousAdidas slippers; you gotta love them, or hate them. And three guesses what I think... 

Yep, you're totally right, I'm lovin' it (pa da papapa!) To be honest, it took me a while to finally 

got an opinion about these flip flops... Why?

I always had that image of my dad wearing these slippers with white socks - of course that's where 

this whole socks and sandals trend is based on (thanks all dads in the world!) - and his sweatpants 

at home. Which was anything but fashion. It didn't even came close to the sentence of fashion! 

And now, it may be one of the biggest trends ever spoken about. Okay, besides leggings maybe...

I must say I always like particular trends, but they have to go on my very way. A little twist of Linsey 

is how I would like to call it ;) And this time my "twist" is the Rita Ora version of these notorious 

sandals. Rita has an amazing collection for Adidas, including two pairs of the Adilette slippers. Of 

course I could have chosen the classic dark blue ones like a lot of people did, but let's be honest; I 

can't wear the same as my dad, could I?!

I know all the Adidas shoes are very trending right now (you just can’t have not noticed this), 

but my big question is; what do you think of these slippers? And to take it one step further; 

what about these slippers with socks? I'm very curious what your thoughts are so let's start 

this conversation! ;)

Oh, that bag. Such an outspoken piece. You're lovin' it or hatin' it. And you know what I do ;-)

And that's where the worldwide discussion started. From "disgusting!" to "Oh my goshhhh MOSCHINO!" 

It's funny to read comments like that though. If you don't take it personally. Otherwise you're 

self-confidence goes to zero. Yes, the world is hard ;-) But I believe that haters will bring you to the TOP.

Yes, I'm still a woman! Although you can't really see it in this outfit. ;)

But hey, every woman needs a tomboy look once in a while, right?

That's the awesome part of being a woman: be classy and wear sky high heels, or rocking 

your boyfriend's outfit. I bet the boys can't beat us with that ;)

Last year we had snow at this time. But now we're already having the Spring fever!

Because I said to myself I will never wear an outfit twice, I wouldn't mind wearing this 

one again (at all). Just the simplicity and a touch of pink - só me! - is enough in this outfit.

Maybe it´s because of the weather I´m all into comfy outfits... 

Well... I´m trying to find excuses everytime I´m wearing a comfortable outfit 

but let me be honest, there isn´t any excuse this time, I just love it! ;) 

Normally I always find a comfy outfit very boring if I may say so. But lately I can see the beauty 

in simplicity. And as long as there´s a pop of color (especially pink) in it I´m satisfied, haha.

Remember this green shirt? Couldn't wait any longer to wear this red one I borrowed 
from my friend Fleur. When I saw this shirt my brain automatically made tons of different 

looks with it. I chose for a warm, winter look; my DKNY boots, Cocoon bag and 

Parajumpers coat.

And by the way, I went to the hairdresser and never have been happier with 

my haircut ever! (check 2nd photo)
