Happy new year from Danielle! (Am I still allowed say that? Hihi!) I hope it will be a stylish

2016 and I can't wait to try out all the new interior trends!

For this first (L)interior post of the year I visited lifestyle blogger and colorful cutie pie, Iris.

Iris lives with her boyfriend in the center of Haarlem and owns an award nominated blog

called: "A Dash Of Fash".

Two years ago Iris graduated and started with her first real job: working as a part time graphic

designer/illustrator at a magazines publisher. She was in need of a lot more challenges and had to

express this ticking time bomb of creativity inside of her. That's where her blog was born.

Iris has her own fashionable style - which I know Linsey is also totally in love with - that makes her

so unique and different than other fashion bloggers. But her blog is not only about fashion. She also

gives her readers: interior, travel and career advice. And as I visited her home, I can definitely say

she's a pro in interior!

A couple of months ago she moved with her boyfriend into a new palace in the center of Haarlem,

a beautiful city in the Netherlands. She invited me for a cup of English tea (her boyfriend is originally

from London) and a fresh cup of coffee for photographer Richard.

I loved her place so much and got so inspired by her interior, I directly wanted to go home

and re-decorate my place again!

 Hi POSERS! It's time for a new Linterior post by Danielle!

Because it was my mister lover lover's birthday last week, I decorated the whole living room and,

of course, the dining table. But HELP! My parents in law came to have dinner at our place as well.

So everything had to be p-e-r-f-e-c-t. And also because I love to talk to you and inspire your

interior thoughts, I had to go hard or go home. Although it was at home, but okay, you get me... ;)

Before I started with decorating my table, I looked at my favorite inspiration site: Pinterest.

Hi everybody, it's time for a new (L)interior inspiration post from Danielle! While I'm writing this

post, I'm sitting home with a warm cup of tea and some candle lights. The dark and gloomy months 

just had started and they're actually not my favorite time of the year... But to make it all cosy and

stuff, I burn some candles every night.

A romantic night with my mister lover lover, when friends are visiting me for some tea and cookies,
or even when I'm home alone watching tv: candles are thé perfect solution for every winter evening
to make it the coziest place on earth.

#ADATEWITH / KEEPING UP WITH DASH DOLLS' DURRANI POPAL

She works for the Kardashians at Dash, looks like a twin of Kim K., has the cutest German/

American boyfriend ever, lives in LA, owns a pink Bentley and now becomes a reality tv star. 

Uhm, D.? - a.k.a. Durrani - you're livin' the Hollywood life baby!

So during her busy life - which I totally understand - we could finally have some Dash-Doll-girl-talk 

on the phone. She told me everything about Dash Dolls the series, which is coming up Sunday
the 25th of October on the Dutch E! Entertainment channel at 21.00h for the first time. 

Durrani also told me what she really thought about the Kardashian sisters and how it's like
working at Dash. What she didn't know was that I recorded our conversation... ;) 

And the big Q, how did she actually became a Dash Doll? Watch the video and listen to my

LINTERIOR BY DANIELLE / LA MAISON DE MIMI ET TOI

While Linsey was shining on the streets of Paris during Fashion Week, I (Danielle) visited a Parisian
who's living in Amsterdam: jewelry designer Mirjam from Mimi et Toi.

The first time I visited Mirjam at her in-cre-di-ble apartment in the South of Amsterdam is already
2,5 years ago! At that time I wrote a post about her for MissionToStyle. When I left her place that
day I fell in love with her gorgeous pieces of jewelry, with her home and with her. She told me her
life story and I was just so impressed by this all.

After she backpacked all over the world she started to work in a bead shop called Beadies.
That's where she started to learn all about how to make jewelry. She made amazing stuff and got
so many positive reactions. A store in Rotterdam called Shppr, even asked if she could make the
same jewelry for the store. So next to her job at Beadies she made her own collection and then,
Mimi et Toi was born.

A good friend of her started a jeans store. She got lucky and created her own studio over there.
Everything she makes is inspired of her own life. Her love for Paris, also the impressions and
emotions of her daily life. And when you're at her home you can see that her brand is a refection of
own her life. J'adore her style, it's so pure! And everything comes a same. It's a mix of vintage and
new, her life in Amsterdam and Paris, a jewelry designer and a mom.

LINTERIOR BY DANIELLE / WALK IN A NYC CLOSET

Last week poser Linsey was shining at New York Fashion Week. Can you imagine how jealous I
(Danielle) was of her?! New York is on top of my bucket list! "The city that never sleeps." they say,
and Linsey confirmed ;-)

I wish I was a SATC girl and lived in The Big Apple just like Carrie did. Walking in the most
beautiful outfits all day, drinking and eating at the most fabulous hotspots from NYC. And
most of all, living in the cutest apartment with a walk-in closet that takes up 80% of my home.
Every girl's dream! Hey, a girl can dream, right? ;)

#LINTERIOR BY DANIELLE / PROUD AS A PEACOCK CHAIR

Hello everyone, are you enjoying the Summer?! I love to see how everybody's enjoying their
holidays, BBQ's and festivals on Instagram. I also saw on Linsey's instagram she was chilling with
her bohemian peacock chair. That inspired me for a new #Linterior (by Danielle) post!

When I'm thinking of Summer, I'm thinking of three words: sun, outside and bohemian. The sun
because of a beautiful tanned skin. "Outside" because I love to do everyting outside: from dating a
friend to work outs. And bohemian because I love the lifestyle of Ibiza, which I integrate in my outfit
and interior.

Last June I was on holidays in Ibiza (lucky me!) and wrote a Linspiration post: "Ibiza at home". I told
you about how to bring some boho influeces to your home. Linsey picked that up pretty well and
made her own bohemian bedroom! With a beautiful white mosquito net around her bed and, where 
this post is all about, a peacock chair.

This chair is a definite musthave in every boho interior. It feels like summer in your living room,
bedroom or even backyard. I found some perfect Pinterest pinspiration pictures how to style a
peacock chair...

Hey girlllll! It's me again, Danielle, with my (L)interior styling tips. This weekend is gay weekend!
Because we have Gay Pride in Amsterdam. The whole city is up side down from street parties to
club parties and the famous Canal Parade. This inspired me for my new #linterior post: Pink Pride.

Pink is not only thé gay color, but also Linsey's favorite color. When we were little girls Linsey
loved to play in my pink bedroom. Since we are living in an adult home with our boyfriends we
can't live in a princess room anymore. (But we do live like Princesses though ;)).

But I found the perfect solution for little pink details at home that your boyfriend
(or girlfriend) wouldn't even notice. Here are my secret tips...

#LINTERIOR BY DANIELLE / FLOWER POWER

Hello there, it's Danielle again! It's time for a boost of #Linterior inspiration. This time we're 

gonna talk about: bloemen, fleurs, blumen, blomster. Or better said: flowers ;) 

Call me crazy but when I'm cleaning my house, I love to change my living room. Sometimes with
new decoration but also with old goodies. So last wednesday before my major house cleaning
session, I moved some of my old decoration and gave them a new place in the livingroom. It
immediately feels like a new home! And I know this may sound crazy, but my boyfriend is used
to come to a "new" home every week.

A real finishing touch of a stylish home are... flowers! So I went to BY DENNIS - my all time favorite 

flower shop in Haarlem - for some new fresh flowers and secretly also for home inspiration ;) 

Their neighbours are themselves. Because they have two stores next to each other: for flowers and 

a seperate interior store. For people like you and me - I'm talking about interior junkies - it's like

a candystore.

So when you bought some fresh flowers, a perfect vase is a must! And not the ones your mom
gave to you (sorry mom!) But a fashionable vase for a stylish home. Yes, vases are a part of fashion
too ;) Something different, something what makes you say "WOW!" Something like an...

#LINTERIOR BY DANIELLE / DANI'S BOOK CLUB

Call me a nerd but I LOVE books! But honestly, more as a decoration than reading them... 

Sorry for my honesty, but I must not be the only one! ;)

Last weekend I visited the Modefabriek, which is the biggest fashion fair in The Netherlands.

There was a huge book corner with loads of magazines and not to mention all the books with 

these beautiful covers. 

I have some killers books at home. My latest purchases are Selfish from my girl Kim Kardashian 

and Alexa Chung's book "IT". Of course I don't want to store them in my bookcase 'cause then you 

don't see the covers. And if you're using them as a decoration, you have to judge the book by it's 

cover! So I decorate it on the table and made a cool Instagram picture of it, if I may say so myself ;)

My ultimate favorite book is definitely the one of thé Dutch designer Iris van Herpen. I bought it at 

an exhibition of her collection a while ago. I'm just in love with her creations! Especially the famous 

skeleton dress. I'm still looking for the best way to decorate my favorite book. 

#LINTERIOR BY DANIELLE / CASA DEL AMSTERDAM

This may look like the inside of a cosy countryhouse somewhere in a cute little village. But think
again. Because this is a 145 square meters mansion in the middle of Amsterdam. Meet the Queen
of the house: Nancy, a.k.a. the woman behind the amazing "Ibiza Xperience" fair. (photo 6)

When I visited Nancy for the first time, we directly popped a bottle of Prosecco and had so much fun!
We sat at her HUGE dining table in the middle of her home, which is also one of her favorite spots.
From the moment I stept in this amazing home I fell in love right away. Wow! That space, the
location and the styling, it's just perfect.

Because I was so in love with her home, I asked Nancy if I could share her palace with you.
And thank God she said YES! I hope you are just as in love as I do, but I'm almost sure you do ;)

#LINTERIOR BY DANIELLE / HOMESICK WANDERLUST

I know you love to travel and want to see the whole world, you little wanderlust ;-) From every
country you've been, you take a little souvenir home. But we can't travel every day of our lives and
it's nice to dream a bit. So what about a BIG map on your wall with little flags on the places were you
have been? I think it's such a great idea!

Every month there's is a fabulous flea market in Amsterdam: IJHALLEN. Last time I was there I saw 

a stand with a lot of old schoolmaps. From Europe maps to Asia maps, Africa maps and even maps of 

our little country the Netherlands! I directly had a flashback to my schooldays. And honestly, that 

wasn't the best object to see when you were at school... But for now as home decoration it's amazing. 

Another tip from Linsey: "If you're in Amsterdam there's this amazing store called "Pied á Terre". 

Which is located on Overtoom 135-137. The best travel bookshop I've ever seen!"

#LINTERIOR BY DANIELLE / BUTTERFLIES, BUTTERFLIES ON THE WALL...

A few weeks ago I told you about my pet Coco. Of course Coco is not my real pet. He's as dead as he
can be and just home decoration ;) But this bull isn't the only animal that "lives" at my home...

Normally you see prepared animals (a.k.a. taxidermy) only at museums. But at the moment it's the
biggest trend to have it at your own home. I have this beautiful framed butterfly. Linsey also has them
at home, tons of them actually ;) It's such a lovely decoration.

About 6 months ago Linsey and I we're dating at the Albert Cuyp market. There was an old man
selling these precious butterflies, scorpions and many more prepared animals from all over the world.
And no, it's not sad or bad to give these butterflies a place in your home, let that be clear! They die on
their own natural way whenever the hell they want to. Before people prepare them for selling.

We loved the butterflies and the old man's story so much, that we both decided to get these little
fella's a nice spot in our own home. Plus a scary scorpion for my boyfriend's birthday! ;)

For years and years I had these discussions with my Mister Lover Lover... Because he is dying to
adopt a cute little cat or a dog he can cuddle with. But I'm too paranoid it will destroy my home...

So now we only have dead bulls, butterflies and a scorpion. And I'm completely happy with that!
Although we can't cuddle them, I love them to death ;)

#LINTERIOR BY DANIELLE / IBIZA AT HOME

Hola chica's! Maybe you've missed me a few weeks on POSE. But I have the best excuse; 

I was on Ibiza with my lazy ass! I seriously had the best time in the world with my boyfriend, 

friends and even my parents-in-law! I love Ibiza, it's my second home, and I can't wait to go back.

When you're driving on the road of Ibiza you see a lot of fabulous interior shops crossing by where 

my interior heart goes BOOM. But because we were on vacation (and it's so damn expensive) we
drove straight to the beach. Maybe in the future when we're big and famous ;) we have our
dream house on this island I can shop til I drop in these amazing stores.

Untill that time I must bring Ibiza to my home in the Netherlands. So let's bring some boho in our 

little frog country ;) At the time we see some Ibiza, Bali, African influence in the interior world. And 

- of course - I love it! For me no "Delfts Blauw" or "Zaanse Schans" but a mix of modern and Boho.

#TIMEMACHINE / NEW YORK STATE OF MIND

I have to confess something... As a fulltime fashion freak, I have never ever been to New York 

in my entire life. Whutttt?! I know, I know, what a shame. #Firstworldproblems (not). Well, that 

came out quickly. Now that has been said I have other news to tell you...

I'm going to NYC! In September! With Fashion Week! I can't stop screaming! AAAH! 

Sh*t is getting real ladies and gentlemen. Please someone pinch me, and like really hard. I already 

couldn't believe my eyes what all happened in Paris last March and now I'm taking the next step; 

New York City baby!

#LINTERIOR BY DANIELLE / MIRROR MIRROR ON THE WALL

I'm a girl that looks in every mirror that comes across my path. And I'm not the only one, aren't I? ;)
Before I'm leaving home I always look in the mirror for my last check. My outfit? Check!
Hair and make-up? Check check! I just cannot understand why people haven't got a big mirror at home,
how the hell can you live like that!?

A mirror is not only important to check out yourself, but its has a lot more functions than you think.
When I moved into my first home with my boyfriend we had a cute little appartment, so we put this huge
mirror above our couch and it made our livingroom looked so much bigger!

I think mirrors are the best decorations for your home. It's funcional, it doesn't take up a lot of space,
and when you're having one hell of a gorgeous mirror, it's also like a piece of art on the wall (especially 
when you're standing in front of it...;) ) So let me help you think out of the box and not only use your mirror to check yourself....

Long live Pinterest! Because I found some awesome ideas to decorate your home with mirrows...

#LINTERIOR BY DANIELLE / MY DEAD PET

Say Hi to my pet, Coco. Some people have a dog, a cat or a fish, but I have bulls. I'm joking!
Of course they're not my pets but it's just home decoration.

A few years ago I was browsing in this amazing book of Eric Kuster, a Dutch interior designer.
 I saw this BIG bull skull and from that moment I was in totally in love and I became obsessed with it.
  And no, I'm not a horror freak ;)

For years I had discussions with le bf because "he really wants to have a cute pet he can cuddle with."
 But I'm too paranoide it will destroy my precious home. And Coco? He just decorates my home. I don't
have to feed him or clean his shit, haha ;) He only has to shine at my place. What else do you want!?

I got my first "pet" from my father in law. He found this awesome skull on Curacao (where he lived)
and took it with him when he came back to the Netherlands.

Once a month there is this flea market in Amsterdam - which called de IJhallen - and there I found this
 mini skull. So to make the bull family complete I bought the big silver skull at Woonexpress. Because they
  hang all together on a wooden shelf, I can move them whenever I'm changing my living room.
 Which is probably once a month, haha!

(PS. Its not that I don't love animals but I just love my home a little more ;) )

#LINTERIOR BY DANIELLE / (how to store your) MAGAZINE MADNESS

I am o b s e s s e d with magazines! (Who´s with me?!) And because I never trow them away,

I have so many I can build a fort with it, haha. I already hear you thinking; where - the hell - do
you leave them?!

It all started with little piles in my home, but then you couldn't see the best part;the covers (duh!)
Because some magazines I just bought for the person on the cover. Like this one with my "bff" 
Kim K(ardashian) ;)

I bought this ah-mazing magazine rack. But to tell you the truth, one wasn't enough (woops!) 
So I bought two of them. Now I can see all the covers with my girls Kim, Doutzen, Kate
and the rest of my babes ;)

But there's more... These racks aren't enough for all my magazines (of course), so with pain in
my heart I need to throw some away or...? There are so many choices to store your magazines - too 
many actually - I can't even make a decision.

Thank God there´s Pinterest! Which is my biggest addiction by the way. And because I found so
many how-to-store-your-magazines solutions, I made a special Pin board. Now the big Q...

NEWBIE IN THE HOUSE!
Let me introduce myself; my name is Danielle and I'm the newest member of the POSE-family. 
 I actually already was family of Linsey - believe it or not, I'm her aunt (yes, long story...) - but from 
 now on I'm also joining the POSE fam! ;)

Maybe you know me from MissionToStyle, which was my personal blog for 3,5 years. 
But because we had so many awesome ideas together, we decided to become this dream-team!
From now on I will take you into my world of interior styling.

Like we say in Dutch: "laten we meteen met de deur in huis vallen", literally...
