#LINTERIOR / THE LONDON LIKE HOME FROM IRIS DIJKERS

POSE-linterior-london-like-1.1
Happy new year from Danielle! (Am I still allowed say that? Hihi!) I hope it will be a stylish
2016 and I can't wait to try out all the new interior trends!

For this first (L)interior post of the year I visited lifestyle blogger and colorful cutie pie, Iris.
Iris lives with her boyfriend in the center of Haarlem and owns an award nominated blog
called: "A Dash Of Fash".

Two years ago Iris graduated and started with her first real job: working as a part time graphic
designer/illustrator at a magazines publisher. She was in need of a lot more challenges and had to
express this ticking time bomb of creativity inside of her. That's where her blog was born.

Iris has her own fashionable style - which I know Linsey is also totally in love with - that makes her
so unique and different than other fashion bloggers. But her blog is not only about fashion. She also
gives her readers: interior, travel and career advice. And as I visited her home, I can definitely say
she's a pro in interior!

A couple of months ago she moved with her boyfriend into a new palace in the center of Haarlem,
a beautiful city in the Netherlands. She invited me for a cup of English tea (her boyfriend is originally
from London) and a fresh cup of coffee for photographer Richard.

I loved her place so much and got so inspired by her interior, I directly wanted to go home
and re-decorate my place again!

LINTERIOR BY DANIELLE / TABLE CELEBRATION DECORATION

POSE-table-celebration-decoration-1  Hi POSERS! It's time for a new Linterior post by Danielle!

Because it was my mister lover lover's birthday last week, I decorated the whole living room and,
of course, the dining table. But HELP! My parents in law came to have dinner at our place as well.
So everything had to be p-e-r-f-e-c-t. And also because I love to talk to you and inspire your
interior thoughts, I had to go hard or go home. Although it was at home, but okay, you get me... ;)

Before I started with decorating my table, I looked at my favorite inspiration site: Pinterest.
This is what really catches my eye...

#LINTERIOR BY DANIELLE / CASA DEL AMSTERDAM

POSE-casa-del-amsterdam-1
This may look like the inside of a cosy countryhouse somewhere in a cute little village. But think
again. Because this is a 145 square meters mansion in the middle of Amsterdam. Meet the Queen
of the house: Nancy, a.k.a. the woman behind the amazing "Ibiza Xperience" fair. (photo 6)

When I visited Nancy for the first time, we directly popped a bottle of Prosecco and had so much fun!
We sat at her HUGE dining table in the middle of her home, which is also one of her favorite spots.
From the moment I stept in this amazing home I fell in love right away. Wow! That space, the
location and the styling, it's just perfect.

Because I was so in love with her home, I asked Nancy if I could share her palace with you.
And thank God she said YES! I hope you are just as in love as I do, but I'm almost sure you do ;)

#LINTERIOR BY DANIELLE / (how to store your) MAGAZINE MADNESS

POSE-magazine-madness-linterior-1
I am o b s e s s e d with magazines! (Who´s with me?!) And because I never trow them away,
I have so many I can build a fort with it, haha. I already hear you thinking; where - the hell - do
you leave them?!

It all started with little piles in my home, but then you couldn't see the best part;the covers (duh!)
Because some magazines I just bought for the person on the cover. Like this one with my "bff"
Kim K(ardashian) ;)

I bought this ah-mazing magazine rack. But to tell you the truth, one wasn't enough (woops!)
So I bought two of them. Now I can see all the covers with my girls Kim, Doutzen, Kate
and the rest of my babes ;)

But there's more... These racks aren't enough for all my magazines (of course), so with pain in
my heart I need to throw some away or...? There are so many choices to store your magazines - too
many actually - I can't even make a decision.

Thank God there´s Pinterest! Which is my biggest addiction by the way. And because I found so
many how-to-store-your-magazines solutions, I made a special Pin board. Now the big Q...
What's your favorite way to store your magazines?

#LINTERIOR / HOME IS WHERE POSE IS...

POSE-home-is-where-pose-is-1
NEWBIE IN THE HOUSE!
Let me introduce myself; my name is Danielle and I'm the newest member of the POSE-family
I actually already was family of Linsey - believe it or not, I'm her aunt (yes, long story...) - but from
now on I'm also joining the POSE fam! ;)

Maybe you know me from MissionToStyle, which was my personal blog for 3,5 years
But because we had so many awesome ideas together, we decided to become this dream-team!
From now on I will take you into my world of interior styling.

Like we say in Dutch: "laten we meteen met de deur in huis vallen", literally...
For my very first post on POSE, I'm showing you my favorite place; my home.
I'm living here with my Mister lover lover and it's near Amsterdam! :)

So what do you think of my home sweet home?!

They're big or small, they're shiny with balls... I'm talking about Christmas trees, duh!
And you still don't have one chilling in your home? How dare you?! ;) But no worries.
I found loads of ideas to have a creative - and simple - "tree" at your on palace.

The first tree I wanna show you is mine! It does not take a lot of space and I wanted to
try something different this year. Well, mission accomplished! What do you think? :)
And how does your Xmas tree looks like?

LINTERIOR

POSE-scandinavian-wannabe-1
We all know Ikea and that it's Swedish. But the Scandinavian people are way more creative with their
interior than only Ikea. But pease don't get me wrong, I la la love that store! But I'm obsessed with
Scandanavian home's. Not only their homes though... My favorite brand was born there.

I'M GOING TO COPENHAGEN! After my visit to Stockholm, it made all my Scandinavian fantasies
came true. So CPH is where I'm going to spend my very first day of 2015. And second, third and fourth...

So Norse readers, I know I have a lot of you! Come to mama with all your tips and hotspots ;)
(Tips from non-Scandinavian people are just as welcome as well, of course.)

LINSPIRATION

POSE-cactus-chilling-1
I'm just in love with cactuses. Just because they're so soft and sweet... Haha! But I do love them though.
If you put a cactus somewhere, it somehow becomes stylish. Just like putting a Chanel logo on it.

Another plus; these sharp cuties are easy to maintain. Although they're quite dangerous in a way,
okay okay, they're not a murder weapon (aren't they?!) they look so freaking cute!

Here's how I chill with them. Or better said; how I have them in my home. And also some
(L)inspiration how to chill with a cactus...

INSPIRATION STATION

POSE-copper-shopper-rosegold-1
I am kinda obsessed with this copper trend for in your home sweet home.
One little problem, everything in my house is silver…

Luckily I have a fashionable auntie which is an interior expert. So she solved my problem
by asking me; 'why not combining all metallics!?' My gosh, genius! Just like you do with
your arm swag.

So let me know if you can spot me in my moodboard ;-)
Time to go copper shopping!

Multi-Jack-1
BOTTLES UP! It's fri-yay so Jack is your best friend tonight. But there's a lot more to do with it
than just drinking it. Do not, I repeat, do not throw away the bottle!

Why not? Recycle! It not only looks awesome to use it as a lamp, soap-bottle or a piggy,
Jack is such a handyman!  And look what I did with my Jack Daniels bottle…

INSPIRATION STATION

POSE-smallroom-1
Lets talk about your home! Shall I start? Okay... We all want to have a big, cosy house, right?
But not all of us is capable of buying - or renting - one.

I have a cute little - 60 square meters with an 8m2 attic - apartment in Amsterdam (de Pijp).
I always say De Pijp is a bit like Le Marais. Where do you live?!

I am (absolutely) not an interior expert. But I am an amazing internet spy though!
So thank the lord for Pinterest!

And what I was searching for is: 'how to make your home look bigger'. I found loads of tips and I thought,
why not sharing with you?! I will show my home when I used my own found tips ;)

Read my tips here in this post and follow me on Pinterest for more inspiration...

INSPIRATION STATION

POSE-balcony-1
How tiny your balcony is - except when you're a lucky bastard and own a garden - you can
be so creative to make this your most coziest place in your home.

This is the only place you can get some fresh air, have unforgettable Summer nights or just chill
and look at the stars for a moment. When I describe a balcony like this, it sounds like one hell
of an important space of your home!

Well, I'm not that lucky bastard with a garden, but after researching to some balcony inspiration
I don't mind it at all. I also wanted to show you my own balcony. Check the last pictures!
What do you think?!

INSPIRATION STATION

POSE-homeoffice-1
I'm trying to discover the interior world since I have my own little dream apartment in Amsterdam.
And since I'm more a fashionista than an interiorista, I can still learn a lot in this section ;)

Every blogger - except for the world famous ones - works on their little baby that takes place in bed,
the couch, dining table or somewhere with free WiFi (am I right? I know I am).

So what about creating a home office? A cute little space to concentrate and make your blog
really happen! I'm thinking about it though...

With a minimalistic desk, some fresh flowers and one hell of a wallpaper on your laptop,
you're already very close of having the ultimate home office. This must not be so hard, right?!

Are you also in with me by making a home office?

TIP: hang up some inspiring quotes that makes your head wanna explode because
of all the inspiration ;)

HOME

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Interior, something I can't remember I've ever post about.Actually it's not my cup of tea - or
should I say "glass of wine" ;) - but I kinda get more interested every time.

I wanted to create a new spot for my jewelry and not putting it in boxes but somewhere
where I can see them.So I grabbed my liquor collection: my self designed bottle (on the right)
from my graduation project of graphic design plus a Christian Audigier Rosé bottle,
Cosmopolitan shaker from the Cointreau party and some cocktail glasses.

Don't ask me why but I'm never ever throwing away my designer packages and it
actually came in very handy for my "designer pile". And if I'm not using my
Anna Dello Russo for H&M suitcase, why not using it as furniture?
