EVENT

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
I was actually wearing sky high heels, a black pencil skirt and a marine blue t-shirt to the
Jan Boelo show but that outfit was a mission impossible to shoot with -1 degrees...
So this is a more casual and warmer version of my "Jan Boelo-ish" outfit.

I was so inspired by his show I visited the last time, I forced myself wearing this vintage hat.
Plus I saw Miroslava Duma was rocking this trend as well.

'So Jan, blow me away like you always do' I said a few days ago. And oops he did it again.
Howdy wowdy! was the first thing that came up to my mind when I saw all these amazing
cowboy hats, oversized coats, leather trousers and denim blouses. Chapeau Jan Boelo!

COLLECTION

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
It looked like I took some days off on the blog but it's actually the exact opposite.
For me it was a mission impossible to update you about all my fashion week stories.
I was so busy I didn't even had the time to sad down and relax for a minute (well yeah,
at 3 in the morning?) so be prepared for some mega posts this upcoming week!
Are you ready?

All dressed up in my Like This outfit I went to my first fashion show of the day; Gsus.
Hot men alarm! Talking about hot men, keep an eye on my blog for some very sexy
eye candy ;) Okay back to "business"...

I'm obsessed with the printed suits from the Gsus collection (photo 6) but for my own
personal reasons I'm not really into the military trend anymore...
I was also able to take a peek backstage and after that the Sjaak Hullekes show started.
Lara Rose, one of my AFW partnersin crime, and I watched and enjoyed, of course...

( P.S. Rein, you rocked! :) )

TRAVEL DIARY

My last day in Berlin was just as awesome as all the other ones. Went to the amazing
fashion show of Schumacher (my gosh, the collection is to die for!) and bumped into fellow
blogger friend Joy who was together with Swedish fashionista Anna and the lovely Stylight team (photo 13).
We grabbed some lunch, had a lot of fashion-talk and spent the day together :)
And then the train left at 16:38 back to Amsterdam...

Joy and I were so happy to see each other we even got "engaged" ;) hahaha!
See the last picture of this post...

(P.S. Thanks Stephanie for borrowing your jacket with this outfit!)

TRAVEL DIARY

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
After a Starbucks breakfast and this outfit shoot in the snow, I waved my girls
(the fashionchicks & Chloe) goodbye and I prepared myself for the Augustin Teboul
fashion show/presentation at the Galerie Thomas Schulte.

I was literally blown away by the beauty of darkness. If you know me a bit, you know I'm not
really from the black-on-black outfits (here an example) but this collection definitely
caught my attention!

I've been at my hotel room all night cause I'm not feeling well (yeah, why not getting
the flu when you're so busy...) The timing can't be worse!

Tomorrow I'll show you how my last in Berlin was, auf wiedersehen!

BACKSTAGE REPORT

If you follow me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, it was probably very clear I was present
at the Raak Amsterdam fashion show (again). I love to be a helping hand at this show.

It's so much fun, surrounding by nice people, gorgeous models and magnificent clothing.
I wouldn't mind taking all the catwalk clothes with me (Missoni, hello?!)

EVENT

It's because I was OBSESSED with Jan Boelo's collection and have a wonderful camera,
otherwise I couldn't even publish this fashion show because of the horrible seats I got...

To be honest, this collection was my favorite of Amsterdam Fashion Week. Maybe because
I have a weakness for the Marine/Army/Defense theme Boelo used. Total goosebumps!!!
The hats, boots, leather, Marine blue, music and gorgeous models was close to perfection
I must say. An international allure.

But if you ask me if it's original, not really. Because for me it was a mix of Louis Vuitton
and Balmain. But what the hell? It was beyond gorgeous!

Into some (more) eye candy? Come back in a few hours ;)

Remember my backstage report about the Raak Fashion Show?
I also filmed behind the scenes and I really wanted to share that with you :-) Likey, likey?!

Did you've seen the RaakAmsterdam fashion show at the live stream yesterday?! Well, what
you gonna see right now wasn't on TV (yet) ;) The backstage report!
As every Raak show, I had a BLESS. Love all the people, the environment, the clothes, Jos
itself, everything :) There's also a backstage video coming up this week so keep an eye on the blog honeys!

Better late than ever. Because when AFW was ended (on the 29th of January,) the next show
was already planned two days after that. So I attended the exclusive and special fashion
show of Dutch designer Leonie Smelt. A different show than usual. No catwalk, no seats, not
a gigantic location. But small, sophisticated, a round room where models stood still and
strike their pose.

Like I told you yesterday, I only post my favorite shows of AFW. And the show of Gestuz
last saturday, was the show with me most awesome (wearable!) collection and the most
beautiful models. I would seriously wear every outfit they shown on the runway. Leather,
maxi dresses, colorful prints, army boots and a touch of glitter. You could actually say that
Gestuz describes my style perfectly :)

(P.S. this afternoon the outfit I wore!)

Because I have made SO many pictures last week, it's time to make a decision... Only my
favorite shows won the competition for a special place on my blog. And this is one of them.

A backstage report of the Tony Cohen show last saturday. I've been there from (almost) the
beginning 'til the end. To experience a show from "the other side" reminds you that it's
blood, sweat and tears to pull of a fashion show. Those hard working people deserve so
much respect for what they do. So, respect Tony and crew :)

Today is the final day of Amsterdam's last Fashion Week. But not here on the blog! I am a
tiny bit behind schedule but no worries, just have a little patience ;)

Yesterday I showed you my favorite show so far. Today I wanted to share my favorite
catwalk so far of the exclusive show of Sage&Ivy from last friday. Mirrors all over the place!
Very classic but also a bit scary if you have seen too much horror movies (like me).
But I loved it.

I'm very excited what Dennis Diem created this time, but I have a few hours to kill to
find that out :)

You understand that this week is full of Fashion week posts. right? I hope you like that as
much as I do. Today I wanted to share my favorite show so far of Dutch designer, Winde Rienstra.
The most impressing thing about the show were definitely the sky high (cardboard!) heels.
R-e-s-p-e-c-t for the models who walked a few meters on the catwalk with those killer heels.

(P.S. this afternoon my second AFW outfit!)

(Photos and film by me)
Yesterday evening. A fashionable evening because of the Raak Amsterdam fashion show.
Every season this wonderful store shows what's in store plus the man himself's creations.

Last show it was all about color blocking but this time it was glitter, glamour and cute. I'm
so in love with Jos van Raak his own clothing line. He bought vintage dresses and gave an
own touch to it by handmade gem stones, sequins and pearls.

Well, get comfi and get carried away by the photos like you were there too...

As you can see at the previous post, last thursday one of my dreams came true at the La
Mode C'est Vous fashion show from Galeries LaFayette. So I thought it's also nice for you to
experience "the making of" or "the behind the scenes" or however you want to call it.
All preparations were at the breathtaking Palais Brongniart. And after that we were brought
where the magic happened; Galeries LaFayette.

Enjoy mon cheries! :)
