TRAVEL DIARY

DAY 2: Ahhh Salou! Home away from home. I went there on holiday since I was little kid 

(2 and a half years old to be exact). A lot of people won't understand the love I have for 

that city - because of some ordinary stories maybe - but I grew up there in the Summer.

It felt like I was driving into Disneyland when I arrived in Salou! All my memories came up as 

soon as I opened my car window and smelled the beachy air. I looked to the left, to the right and
memories is all I saw. And that made me incredibly happy!

People say time machines don't excist. I created my own - in my head of course - and went

 back in time. I can tell you, it was awesome!

TRAVEL DIARY

Last friday night I decided to go to Barcelona on saturday morning. Whutttt?! 

Yes, I had a YOLO moment okay! Why? Why not?!

Four days no blog, no make-up, no fashion, just relaxing. That's exactly what I needed. 

I'm screaming for months now: "I soooo need a holiday", so that finally happened!

Of course I made pictures! That's what you do when you're on vacation, right? 

Snapshots of the great times you wanna remember. And I definitely wanna remember these days…

My alarm went on a time when I normally go to sleep. Okay, I'm exaggerating a bit; 5AM ;)
And as I am not a real superstar in flying with the plane, I was freaking nervous.

The first thing what was on the planning after our check-in to the hotel? Fooooooooood.
So off we go to Mercat de la Boqueria! In the night we were strolling around in El Born
and enjoyed our lovely balcony and neighborhood in Ciutat Vella.

Then it was time to get some sleep, because I already knew day 2 was gonna be SO excited!!!
I will tell you everything about that tomorrow... ;)

It's throwback thursday so we have all the rights to look back on the most amazing memories 

we have. One of mine is my vacation to Ibiza three weeks ago. 

And like some of you told me you already hoped for: yes, Ibiza The Movie is online! 

Starring Joy van Egdom and me ;) Plus some unpublished pics of my amazing vacation.

Yes, I'm abroad again. I just landed on... IBIZA! One week full of shopping, parties, blogging 
and fun with my girl Joy. We're staying at the oh-so-amazing Ushuaia hotel and I couldn't be 
more excited! Will update you ASAP. Adiós ;)

(P.S. Any Ibiza tips are always welcome!)

LOST & FOUND

Sun, beach and relaxation, I miss it already! Two weeks ago I was living the good life in Saint-Tropez. 

I was browsing trough my holiday pictures and already got some unforgettable memories. 

And of course I want to share as much as I can :) My favorite drink (Ice Tropez!) and bites 

(crepes), Nikki beach, inhuman yachts, my POSE office for the week and the clamping 
where we stayed.

Nikki Beach A.K.A. Paradise. I have nothing bad to say about this place, only the price? But 

it was SO worth it. Like the title "you have to pay the price for paradise". It was breathtaking. 

Owning a Ferarri was the most normal thing in the world. I saw on TV the parking boy gets 

hundreds of euro's tip and where Nikki Beach stands for; the champagne shower. I think the 

video says it all... (at the bottom of this post)

Just a typical day at the glamping: went to the beach the whole day and had a tiny, cute 

BBQ at our tiny, cute place. With fish, meat, bread with boursin and my new favorite drink; Ice Tropez.

Wearing something comfortable is a must for me at the moment. My feet are also on 

a holiday, so sky high heels aren't a daily thing ;)

Saint-Tropez, you gotta love it or hate it. And to be honest, I think it's ah-some and I can 

handle a lot, but even I felt a bit intimidated. 

You can see this city as a dream or as something really depressing. Of course I expected the 

lovely Chanel, Hermes and Louis Vuitton stores (GOD The House Of Chanel was beyond in-cre-di-ble) 

But if you see yachts from like 400 million euro's(!) the first thing that's going on your mind is; 

'WOW, this is gorrrrgeous' but after that you think; 'my god, this is inhuman!'

It even looks like the homeless people (yes, they live there on the streets too) seem to be okay. 

Finding Laduree macarons in the trashcan sounds a lot better than rotten bread, right?

But to make things clear, I can definitely tell you I'm having a bless here!

These are pics of the first day here and I can say this, they definitely didn't lie about the 

glamping thing! What a luxury (and glamour ;)) I even got a walk-in closet in my house (photo 6) :)

 You have the feeling you're not even in France, more like Hawaii or Bali. There's like a 

tiny brook with a waterfall in front of the house (photo 1) and we're surrounded by tropical plants.

I not even mentioned the road to Saint-Tropez, check the video, it's just phenomenal!

Thursday morning 8 o'clock the holiday begun. A 13 hours drive to Saint-Tropez but made a 

stop right after Lyon in a small town called Givors at a Motel. 

What you probably already expecting is that I'm wearing an outfit that's as comfi as possible. 

Who's going on a road trip wearing high heels? Victoria Beckham maybe? Bu not even me!

Have them with me though but not for now ;)

Found those (verrrrry) old Converse shoes in my wardrobe, almost wanted to sell them but 

I think I kinda like them again! They make me think of the Prada SS12 collection.

I've never published these pics before 'cause my blog wasn't born yet ;) 

But probably the WiFi is crap here in the motel because I prepared this post when 

I was still at home...

Two years ago, while Bryan was in Afghanistan I went on a holiday with my girly Joy to 

lovely Ibiza. What do you think of my haircut by the way? :P 

Joy and I had so many wonderful memories of this holiday I really wanted to share those

 pics with you. I also met Kim the best stylist ever ;) (photo 6&11) at Ibiza, where I still hang 

out with a lot. I hope Saint-Tropez will just be as fun as Ibiza!

NEWS

When you're reading this I'm already on my way to Saint-Tropez! Well, Port Grimaud, 

but that's almost next to it. So I don't have to imagine myself sitting there at this glamping. 

(Yes, you're reading it right *glamping*) Tomorrow I can finally chill here in real life ;)

Bryan and I are going by car and make a stop at a motel. Hopefully there's WiFi so I can 

keep you up to date, otherwise there's another lovely post coming up tomorrow :)
