I can be a big kid sometimes. And not only by acting like one, also by dressing like one. 

When I saw Despicable Me for the first time, I was OBSESSED. 

Of course I wished the Minions were real. But I have to deal with it and just be happy

with this shirt. And I'm okay with that ;)

Well I'm not vintage (yet), of course. And neither is my shirt. But I must say, if you live in 

Amsterdam you just get forced to like vintage. And that's not a bad thing at all.

Vintage is a vibe. A vibe that feels like home. Or recognizable from waaaaay back family pics.

You can sometimes feel a piece of clothing has been through a lot more than you have. Plus it has 

more personality than your "new" clothes.

Okay, cut the cr*p! The only vintage thing I'm wearing in this outfit is my Levi's jeans… No worries, 

I have a HUGE closet with a lot of vintage treasures so my vintage story was sincere ;)

(PS. What about this awesome location?! It's the home of one of my parents' friends)

TRAVEL DIARY

Besides the amazing weather and food, there's also some required shopping to do. You just cannot
go to a big city - like Barcelona - and not go shopping. 

I discovered some freaking awesome places to find your (not designer) masterpieces. Like the
store Flamingo's Gallery, WOW. Walk into that store and you walk into heaven, I swear! The concept
is one big - not giant - building with cute little stores in it and they have little treasures for any type of person.

Oh and what about & Other Stories? I heard you saying 'ahhh yeah!', because that's one of the 

stores I miss the most in Amsterdam. And FYI, I didn't bought that dress on the fourth picture… 

Please God, WHY?! D

TRAVEL DIARY

DAY 2: Ahhh Salou! Home away from home. I went there on holiday since I was little kid 

(2 and a half years old to be exact). A lot of people won't understand the love I have for 

that city - because of some ordinary stories maybe - but I grew up there in the Summer.

It felt like I was driving into Disneyland when I arrived in Salou! All my memories came up as 

soon as I opened my car window and smelled the beachy air. I looked to the left, to the right and
memories is all I saw. And that made me incredibly happy!

People say time machines don't excist. I created my own - in my head of course - and went

 back in time. I can tell you, it was awesome!

TRAVEL DIARY

Last friday night I decided to go to Barcelona on saturday morning. Whutttt?! 

Yes, I had a YOLO moment okay! Why? Why not?!

Four days no blog, no make-up, no fashion, just relaxing. That's exactly what I needed. 

I'm screaming for months now: "I soooo need a holiday", so that finally happened!

Of course I made pictures! That's what you do when you're on vacation, right? 

Snapshots of the great times you wanna remember. And I definitely wanna remember these days…

My alarm went on a time when I normally go to sleep. Okay, I'm exaggerating a bit; 5AM ;)
And as I am not a real superstar in flying with the plane, I was freaking nervous.

The first thing what was on the planning after our check-in to the hotel? Fooooooooood.
So off we go to Mercat de la Boqueria! In the night we were strolling around in El Born
and enjoyed our lovely balcony and neighborhood in Ciutat Vella.

Then it was time to get some sleep, because I already knew day 2 was gonna be SO excited!!!
I will tell you everything about that tomorrow... ;)

LINSTAGRAM

(L)instagram was a little bit busy the past month. Lots of pictures, videos and bloggers came by.

Meetings, Dolce & Gabbana bikes, WorldCup, Fashion Week. And I can go on and on and on ;)

Focus, f-o-c-u-s, fo... Oh hey a unicorn! I'm having a hard time with concentrating lately.
I'm over thinking a little too much. Why? Because 24 hours in one day is just not enough!

But I definitely do remember this look! When I was shopping for my - then future - dream house
where I'm still so happy though!

I was looking as sweet as sugar and the fashion show of Zyanya Keizer was actually 

the complete opposite... Those are things you cannot predict of course. 

Enough about me, let's talk about the show. My gawd, that was ah-mazing!

My god, that was photographer heaven. Or like I said, picture paradise. So who did I brought 

with me? My photographing daddy of course ;)

He was completely in his element! And I was too, as you can see...

 readers?! ;) I cannot speak a word Italian (Ciao?) 

This was the look I wore to the show of lovely twinsies Spijkers en Spijkers.

If you like Kenzo, you are obsessed with this collection. ROARR! is what came up in my 

mind when I saw these animals prints. And in a good way, of course.

Why Italian by the way? When I chose to wear this Spijkers en Spijkers look, I felt like a 

signora - and eating pizza, but I didn't! - a la wanna be Dolce & Gabbana model, that's why...

Twice a year the fashionista's leave the past behind and look forward to the future... 

This is known as Fashion Week. And Amsterdam is in the middle of it. So of course I'm present ;)

This was my look for day 1. Chique and edgy, just how I like it. And just like the shows I watched.
One of them were the new talented Fernanda Fernandes and Joelle Boers & Bregje Cox.
(Look at those shoes! And what about mine?!)

After the shows there was the Zalando Blogger Awards, which I did not won though...
But it was nice to see my fellow bloggers win well deserved awards. Great job girls!

Since I'm obsessed with finding a vacation destination (hey, it rhymes!) I went way
back on the blog and remembered how awesome St. Tropez was. What about Cannes? 

Was the first thing that came up when I saw these paradise pictures again.

So, what about Cannes?! Ever been there? Or do you have another tip? :)

Meeting new people - and cameras - plus discovering hotspots is always a good idea! 

And I had it all last week at the Bloggerwalk with Olympus. (More Olympus posts are coming btw!)

I just felt like a tourist in my own city! Thanks to Cityhotspotter I discovered places in 

Amsterdam I just passed by sometime and didn't even knew they existed. Crazy!

in Dutch - just sounds way much funnier, don't you think? ;)

This outfit may look a little bit too hot for Summer. Well, maybe not in The Netherlands actually... 

But this coat is already from the winter collection of Boohoo which I'm obsessed with!

It all started last January, when I welcomed a new friend in my life. We met each other at 

I Love Fashion News - where I work - and clicked from day one. She was my intern. 

I'm talking about my girly Nanda of course. Which mostly of you seen pass by on my 

social media a lot. I brought her even with me to Stockholm! And I hope I learned her a 

lot in fashionlife ;-)

Last friday was her last day as an intern at ILFN. And since we called each other 

Lauren (Conrad) - which is moi - and Whitney (Eve), we decided to shot a goodbye shoot 

in the theme of The Hills LC's and Whit's farewell lunch, remember? (see last photo...)

Okay, trust me, this Scandinavian raincoat is definitely rain proof. And I have the evidence right here! 

Festival season just started and thank the Lord the raincoat is an absolute musthave. 

I think this was the funniest shoot ever. Can you imagine my photographer a.k.a le dad was shooting
and my lovely assistant/girl Nanda was throwing water at me a thousand times, haha!

Well let's get this party started! I'm ready for it ;)
