Besides my 4 jobs (I'm a freelancer, so that explain a lot) I have a new duty: moving in my own home.
But I must say, that's just as much work as moving in to another one. Why? I found a new roomie! 

A roomie that will change my life and way of living. Did I make you curious yet? ;) 

I will tell you more about him or her in 2015... Hihi!

But why I was saying all this, was actually because I wanted to explain the amount of time 

I have lately: exactly zero... The free time I had all went to Christmas dinners. Okay, you don't 

hear me complain ;) but I can feel a little quilty and trapped when I'm not active here on POSE. 

This blog means a lot to me and I love to share all my stories to you. And hopefully you like to 

read it to ;) So maybe you can guess what's on my list of 2015... MORE BLOGGING! 

I will make this website my priority and I'm going to surprise, inspire and entertain you a lot
the upcoming year! Are you with me? :)

You know that horrible feeling when your biggest fear comes true? That fear you always want to avoid 

at particulair moments. But you know how life works; it does happen exact on these moments, duh!

The love of my life, my everything. She crashed. I´m talking about my laptop, my sexy MacBook. 

Is there a "That moment when" meme that says: "That moment when your laptop crashed with 

an hour of unsaved work"? because that one would fit in my situation at the moment...

This is the reason why it looked like I was playing hide and seek with you. I was powerless. 

And my Macbook was too, literally. No laptop, no blog, is what I have to believe unfortunately.

But I love to think in solutions, not in problems! So guess what I have, a s-o-l-u-t-i-o-n-!

So I will be posting ASAP! Oh, and you know how I love to over react, right? ;)

I think a lot of you already heard the news about Joan Rivers passed away. 

With this post I wanted to stand still and think of what an amazing (and hilarious) woman this was.

A few months ago I met one of her closest colleagues and friends George Kotsiopoulos.

One of my questions to George was how Joan was in real life. I wanted to know that 

because she always looked like such a power woman.

I didn't expect I could already scrap one of my biggest goals of 2014 off my list this fast:
finding an awesome job next to blogging. But hell yes I freaking found it! 

From next tuesday I can call myself the newest member of Holland's biggest fashion website; 

I Love Fashion News. And yes I'm proud of it.

My job? The appearance, the look and feel, the beauty. Or in other words - the thing
I do best - the graphic design.

2014, I love you already!!!

BEST OF 2013

I'm still a little bit in shock of realizing 2013 is over within a couple of hours. Thinking back to all 

my memories and experiences from the past year gives me mixed feelings. In a good way I must say.

So many emotional things happened! And dreams came true. 

I made up a list last year. A kinda "bucket list" for 2013. With goals I was laughing about while writing
it. And with laughing I mean I never thought I would achieve those goals within one year. But I can
assure you, I freaking achieved them all!

My biggest goal was finding an apartment in Amsterdam. Check! I still cannot believe I'm living here 

and writing this post from my very own couch which I bought for a whole lot of money ;-)

2013 showed me who my real friends are. I have a lot of them and would never ever trade them for
anyone else. I met so many new, amazing people and got closer and closer with all of my closest
friends. Words cannot describe how much they mean to me but I wanted to say them: I love you guys
with all my heart! You've done so much for me - which I appreciate so, so much - and I will be there
whenever you need me to be.

Another goal on my list was to travel more and explore the world. Well, I started my year in Paris so
that was a good begin to achieve this goal! After Paris I went to Berlin for Fashion Week with fellow
blogger Chloe. I've been to Antwerp twice, to interview the owner of Sal Y Limon. And the other time,
just for shopping fun ;-) In May was my biggest one; Bonaire. I finally overcome my fear to fly. And
I think there's no better reward than being on this island with your family. I was back for a month and
my Ibiza trip was ready for me. I literally  had the time of life with one of my besties - and now my
roommate - Joy. And this time I'm happy to end 2013 in my hometown Amsterdam (for the first time!)

I did the catwalkshow for Frenchonista, designed my own t-shirt for Nola.Nova, saw Khloé
Kardashian in real life(!), had a new tattoo, started my column at Metro Mode and worked together
with YSL. I also had thé best birthday ever. It will be hard to surpass this one. Almost impossible I
think. Partly thanks to one of my other besties Cherise, who gave me the best birthday present that
 I will keep as a secret for you ;-) 

This year was all about closure and my "yolo" phase. (I don't know if I'll leave the yolo
phase behind me yet... We will see)

Although you know what the most important thing is - love what you do and do what 

you love - sometimes you forget to be happy in life. 

The most important thing I learned this year is to put your own happiness first, always. Being there for
someone else doesn't make only them happy, but gives you an indescribable feeling as well.

I hope you're just as excited for 2014 as me! We're gonna rock it even more! See you next year my
lovely readers. I wish you a stylish and happy new year.

Well hello there Beau! This video gave a smile on my face from ear to ear.

I got an e-mail from Linda magazine with a personal message from the famous Dutch - and handsome -  

actor Beau Schneider (also known as Tim Loderus).

All the Dutchies will know them from the most famous soap in The Netherlands; Goede Tijden, 

Slechte Tijden. OH MY GOSH, can you believe this?!

For the not Dutchies the translation literally is that he was reading my blog and loved my way of 

writing plus it looks fantastic! It was not only my blog but more me he was attracted to. He thinks 

I'm beautiful and so creative. And he asks me to write something about Linda Meiden magazine 

because he's on the cover. (Very clever Linda!)

 Well Beau, you got me. Your wish is my command, here I am writing about the Linda Meiden 

magazine and can't wait to see you pretty little face on the cover ;-)

by the videos they sent me last week. 

Everybody knows Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel a.k.a. my ultimate hero. But did you know 

she was an orphan? Or who her lovers were? And how her fairytale life really went?

done two weeks ago. It was time to give my mini addiction a little dose again. I got my fourth 

tattoo. And on many requests and compliments, I made a special post about my tattoos.

It all started with this one on my forearm almost three years ago. I was 20 years old. 

The initials of my mom and dad (Lydia & Richard) with my very own design. Still my 

best Christmas present ever!

I know, I know, it's no throwback thursday yet. But I was browsing trough my iPhoto and 
bumped into my Summer pics and could almost cry of sadness. I'm literally getting 
depressed by the cold, snow and just the Winter. 

I miss my Tory Burch sandals, 30 degrees, eating outside, going bare legged and 
sweating like a fat kid in a candy shop.

Valentinesday... For some people depressing, for others a happy day and a lot of 
people actually don't care. I can say I'm a little bit of all those three.

This is my very first single/boyfriend-free Valentinesday but of course that doesn't mean 
I haven't got any plans! My girl Cherise is my "Valentine" for today and she's gonna cook 
me some wonderful dinner (I already know it's gonna be delicious!) and I'll take care of 
the dessert, yummmm! What are your plans?

I wanna give you as much love, hearts and kisses as I can :)

When I was a "freshman blogger" my first trip I shared with you was the one to Berlin.

And time flies 'cause that's already more than two years ago.

Now I'm off to Berlin for the second time but this time not just for vacation but 

for Fashion Week, Bread & Butter and lots of other fashionable fun. Luckily I'm not going 

alone, I'm going with fashionista Chloe. Hopefully I have the time to catch up with some 

other lovely friends there too 'cause you know when it's Fashion Week, it's madness ;)

I'm literally shedding a few tears while making this post. What can happen in one year? 
Wauw, a lot! With many ups and downs this year was amazing and also made me so strong
I didn't even know I had so much strength in me.

Frenchonista named her clutch after me, got a new tattoo, met a lot of really 

amazing people and made some new incredible friends but also lost a few, broke up my 
relationship of 6 and a half years, I bought my very own Chanel bag and my first 
pair of Louboutins (two of my fashionista dreams ;) ), traveled from Paris to Milano to Madrid 
and Saint-Tropez, had some awesome collaborations with Fashionchick, Frenchonista, 
Nelly, NolaNova, Karin van Dijk, Wimdu, Skechers, Sarah Lou and Guess.

2012 was a year full of mixed emotions and hard work to get where I want to come. The last 
couple of months was the hardest part of my life but that's also the part where I achieved the 
most. So 2013 is gonna be my time to shine! And I want YOU to shine with me. 
Because you're the best! I wanna thank everybody for reading my blog and following me, 
that just means the world to me. I'm going to work even harder than I did before to 
achieve my goals, to give you some awesome eye candy and to complete my bucket list
at the end of this year ;) Nobody can't stop me now!!!
