Walking a catwalk. I checked that experience from my bucket list over two years ago. With a 

secret dream to hopefully experience this again. 

And my dream came true, last monday. This time not in Paris but in my hometown Amsterdam.
I was modeling for my Frenchonista Samia at De Kleurrijke Lijst event. 

Together with fellow models; I Am Zu's Arzu, famous Dutchie Beertje van Beers, top model Ovo 

and handsome Storm we rocked the stage like it was a party!

Nervous? Oh god yes you can't even imagine. Happy? Even more ;-)

THROWBACK THURSDAY

Oh memories, memories... (throwback) Thursday is the perfect day to look back to all the

good things that happened. I'm so thankful for many things I experienced since my blog 

was born. But this one is still one of my favorites; La Mode C'est Vous. 

September 2011. Walking on the biggest catwalk of the world in the middle of my favorite 

city Paris thanks to Galeries La Fayette. Oh Paris, you bring me luck... ;)

HELLO?! I'm also featured at glamourparis.com. I'm not even featured in my homeland 

glamour.nl (yet)! I secretly made an happy dance when I saw that, hihi.

Yesterday evening. A fashionable evening because of the Raak Amsterdam fashion show. 

Every season this wonderful store shows what's in store plus the man himself's creations. 

Last show it was all about color blocking but this time it was glitter, glamour and cute. I'm 

so in love with Jos van Raak his own clothing line. He bought vintage dresses and gave an 

own touch to it by handmade gem stones, sequins and pearls.

Well, get comfi and get carried away by the photos like you were there too...

Bonjour mon cheries! 

Here the photos of the best experience I ever had in my life (so far): my first catwalk 

experience. WAUW! I'm getting speechless when I want to talk about it. Now I know what 

kinda fabulous (and exhausting) job this is. Getting extravagant make-up, two people pulling 

my hair at the same time, rehearsals for the fashion show. Just like every model gets treated 

before the catwalk. 

When I walked over the catwalk, I seriously got goosebumps! I can't believe I did this! Am I 

dreaming? And not only that, I'm freaking Paris, HELLO?! 

Of course with every step I took it was like "don't fall, don't fall, please don't fall" but I also 

enjoyed it a lot. 

It was such a long but magnificent day. I feel so blessed I was able to do this. And I will 

definitely do it again if that's possible. This was one hell of an experience. And all the people 

were so nice! Some thought I was Chiara from theblondesalad.com, haha so cute!

Thank you so much Galeries LaFayette! I absolutely can't thank you enough for this.

Yesyes, the fourth edition of the Grazia PC Catwalk show was last Sunday. The longest 

catwalk ever in Holland; 320 meters! Respect for the models who were walking up and 

down the catwalk with their killer heels on. 

Everybody was blessed by the the weather because they were quite lucky! First a lot of 

sunshine, but after the show the raindrops fell from the sky. 

Me and my BFF were able to help behind the scenes. So here are some snaps!

Some moments, like I said before, I feel like I'm having a Doutzen Kroes moment because of 

the modeling and stuff. But this time it was like I was in the first season of The Hills feeling 

like Miss Conrad and totally into the fashion scene.

Being responsible for some clothing sounds a bit scary if you have to guard brands like 
MaxMara, Céline and Oger. And it's a must to take care of your models to look precious and 
cross your fingers you haven't given them the wrong outfit or something.

Everything went perfect and it was a tough but fashionable day ;)
