WELCOME TO MY CLOSET

No, this is not just another cute little necklace. Hell yes it's cute, but that's not where this is about.

Wearing this necklace makes you help a lot of women in the world. 

It all started in Turkey, to help women in the slums of Ankara. And last year they even expanded 

to Tunisia where they helped single mothers and women who were victims of rape or incest.

Each heart is unique, just like yours. These silver necklaces are handcrafted by their own female 

artisans and I literally can't stop wearing it. Not only because it's gorgeous, also because you feel
like doing something good for them :)

My first thought when I heard I was having a photoshoot for Ti Sento was; could we have done 

this before this enormous breakfast?! But after seeing the result my mind changed right away.

Ti Sento launched their newest denim collection. Denim? Yes, denim. They used the material in
the jewelry. So original! And guess what I got as a gift... :-)

5 QUESTIONS

Yesterday I was invited to come to Antwerp and meet the lady behind my favorite bracelet brand, 

Sal Y Limon. I felt so honored and excited! I did my 5 questions interview and we had some awesome
arm parties. Meet Raffaella Iten Metzger, that sounds just as pretty as the SYL bracelets look like.

Which designer would you want to work with?

Tom Ford, definitely.

What is your favorite bracelet of your own collection?

Actually it's very difficult, because every season I have new favorite bracelet. In a way my all 

time favorites are from the very first collection because they were my first designs. On the other 

way, every time I design everything with my pencil - me: really?! - Yeah! I do everything by hand 

first - me: wow! - So when I design a bracelet I don't know what it would look like once it's 

produced. My favorite bracelet is actually always a surprise to myself.

Which celebrity would be the best to represent Sal Y Limon?

I think it's very, very different to say because one of the key points of SYL is that I really think it fits 

with very young people who are classy, chique, hippy like - me: so no Miley Cyrus? hihi - Well, 

nothing against Miley Cyrus! - me: me neither by the way! - But if it was for me to say I guess it 

would be someone a little bit older than her and a little bit more classy, perhaps. But I think even
Miley would do something very bright and colorful. - me: Because you have every color of 
the rainbow in your collection,  I think there's at least one bracelet for any girl or 
woman - Absolutely!

What was it like to work with The Blonde Salad?

It was great. I met her two years ago and she is very down to earth. She just got famous at the time that 

we started working together. So her manager said to me; you have like a connection with each other. 

Because we started out at the same stage and didn't know where this journey would go. And for both of 

us it went very well and it is a successful journey already. So every time I see her she is so kind and 

she's doing such a great job. She could be arrogant but she's absolutely not.

Describe Sal Y Limon (SYL) in three words:

Ehm... Sexy, colorful and versatile.

Interior, something I can't remember I've ever post about.Actually it's not my cup of tea - or 
should I say "glass of wine" ;) - but I kinda get more interested every time.

I wanted to create a new spot for my jewelry and not putting it in boxes but somewhere 
where I can see them.So I grabbed my liquor collection: my self designed bottle (on the right) 
from my graduation project of graphic design plus a Christian Audigier Rosé bottle, 
Cosmopolitan shaker from the Cointreau party and some cocktail glasses. 

Don't ask me why but I'm never ever throwing away my designer packages and it
 actually came in very handy for my "designer pile". And if I'm not using my 
Anna Dello Russo for H&M suitcase, why not using it as furniture?

I'm talking about? Yess, Guess, the sexy American brand that was born exactly 30 years ago 

(happy anniversary!) 

Back on "Guess-track" is Claudia Schiffer, who is the face of the brand again <3 

Last Tuesday I attended the launch of their newest jewelry line that comes out next August. 

A very versatile collection with chic, sexy and glamour. My favorite pieces are the leopard 

watch (photo 3) and the glittery ring (photo 7) I also did my best being  a "hand-model" for 

my fellow bloggers (first&last photo) ;) hihihi.
