Besides all the tips my little island babe Nathalie gave me, the amount of treasures I found
on beyond beauty Bali is absolutely mind blowing! To be honest, it isn't that hard to find
ah-mazing spots, but finding the cherry on top of the smoothie - Bali has a healthy lifestyle -
is definitely a job for the die hards. Let's meet this lunatic: ME!
Are you ready for my (with) Who, What (to do), When (to stay), Where (to go), Why (should
you visit) and How (long) Bali guide?
With someone you love, DUH... And definitely with a driver. But you meet up with him
on Bali (another DUH). It's also a great island to discover for the brave einzelgängers among us.
WHAT (to do)?
- Visit a temple (and one is more than enough).
- Make friends at the Monkey Forrest (Ubud).
- ATTENTION coffee junkies! Write this down: Kopi Luwak. Thé best and most expensive
coffee - but still affordable, don't worry - in the world.
- And best of the best (warning! Only for sporty spices): climb the Mount Batur to see the
best sunrise EVER, trust me!
- Take awesome selfies at the rice fields in Jatiluwih (Ubud).
WHEN (to stay)?
We visited Bali in February, which is the rain season. There a positive and negative things
about that. I love rain! Kidding, of course not... But because of the damp, the island is at it's
best; GREEN. And rain season = low season = quiet = no waiting for sightseeing things
and restaurants. Can't handle the rain? Go in April, May, June or September, before or
after high season.
WHERE (to go)?
- Go to as many beaches as you can! My favorites? Bingin Beach, Nusa Dua Beach,
Echo Beach, volcano beach in Canggu.
- For bad hair days - which you'll get without a doubt - you must visit Rob Peetoom's Hair
Spa at Kuta.
- For a million dollar dinner - what will cost you €40,00 max. - go to The Edge.
- Wanna go all cheap and stingy? Kelly's Warung is amazing for lunch
and smoothies.
- Some other favorites: Nalu Bows (very hip and healthy smoothie bowls), Potato Head
(awesome beach club and best Gnocchi dish I ever had in my life), Earth Cafe (vegan and
healthy. Please try the pancakes, no words for it), Single Fin (amazing view and hotty hotspot).
WHY (should you visit)?
I don't know why I posted this question but okay... BECAUSE IT'S PARADISE!
You'll become a better and more relaxing person when you visited Bali.
HOW (long)?
We went one week to Bali, two weeks to Western Australia (more about that soon) and one
week Bali again and of course I could have stayed 392018 times as longer as that, but my advice
is at least two weeks.
